Hong Kong Hostel

It’s a great location and the staff are lovely, but there’s no social area and the hostel itself is very grotty with dodgy lifts and an unpleasant smell.

Great location, but place is shabby and there are no communal facilities--not even a kitchen.

Calling this a hostel is generous.. maybe a halfway house or homeless shelter There are many people who are living there, one day someone was working there from their laptop taking calls for 8 hours and it’s only one big room so you can hear everything The mattress is probably 2 in in depth and the bathrooms have a sewer stench Since there’s no common area people are often taking calls from the room is noisy, smelly and uncomfortable

If all you want is a very small, uncomfortable bed to get some bad sleep, this is the one. It’s a solid location, very close to a metro, but the bed is tiny, and the mattress isn’t really a mattress. There is no common space, and this is NOT the place if you’re a solo traveler trying to meet people.

For Hong Kong standards, it was satisfactory. Dormitory room itself was good. Comfortable bed, shower/bathrooms were decent. Perhaps a bit cramped. Small couch and chairs but right beside beds so not ideal for socialising. Good balcony space though. The check-in process was chaotic and not ideal on a rainy late night as it involved 2 separate buildings before being brought to a 3rd one for the actual room. There were not directions to follow and I was lost until a member of staff appeared.

we have 2 air conditioner but 1 is blowing no cold wind at all. Find difficult to meet staff during night or early morning. The door access card suddendly not responding during my stay.

Really great stay! Excellent value for the money, and quite clean! Definitely going to stay here again.

Hatte eine sehr gute Zeit in dem Hostel. Kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Es war alles sauber, alles vor Ort was man braucht. Und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zu vorkommend 🤙🏽

I had such a mixed experience when it comes to the dorms. In a 4 bed mixed dorm the mattress was 1 cm thick on wood and the bathroom was completely wet once you showered and when I changed to a 6 bed female dorm it was a comfy, clean, stylish room so 100 times better. So make sure you book the right room hahah Shoutout to Amy at the reception who is super nice and caring !

Honestly, for what you pay you get such a good deal. Location super central and all the buildings have 24/7 security staff on site. Big thanks to Dan and Amy for being so helpful. Would deffo stay again if ever back in Hong Kong.

i really liked the location of the hostel. it is in the middle of where you want to be in hong kong. i also enjoyed the free in-room washing machine; it was new and worked well. the room had a/c which i appreciated. the bathroom was a wetroom (so shower and toilet in the same space) which felt slightly rundown but nothing too terrible. the bed space was comfortable and felt clean. the room isn't located with a main space, so if you are looking for a social hostel this won't be for you. overall i...

Would recommend 100% !!! I am a girl solo traveling across Asia and this hostel was super safe and also cleaned everyday. Facilities were great : good showers, free laundry, good bed with good privacy, fans, kitchen with microwave, big fridge and kettle. Staff was lovely, Amy was very friendly and gave me a lot of recommendations. The location is also extremely practical in the middle of the city. Very good value for the price too. I went to a lot of hostel and this one is excellent !

Great hostel on Hong Kong Island! Very well connected with Causeway Bay MTR station just around the corner. Rooms were very clean and tidy and staff are very responsive and friendly. They were able to accommodate a later check in due to flight delays. Exceptional value for money for HK. I wasn't actively looking for social opportunities so couldn't comment on this, but it's not a 'party' vibe - nice to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. Would definitely recommend!

Good for HK hostels standards (which are usually small and cramped). My room was in a different building than the reception (staff walked me there). It was easy to access the building and room. Bed was fine. Bathrooms were tiny and quite dirty, and had a sewer smell. Cleaning could be improved. There was no separate common area, just a sofa in the room and a terrace. They provided filtered water, shampoo, towel, coffee, wifi. The area was great, lots of food options. Good value for money overall

I got my moneys worth, the beds to super clean and comfortable, th rooms are quiet and chill, it is located in a really good spot in the city.

This was my second stay here, but definitely not the last! It was so nice and cozy, hehe I LOOOOOVE how comfy the beds are here. I had the best sleep. The staff was as usual top-notch, so chill, so helpful, 10 out of 10. Thank you Dan for lending me a scale to weigh my luggage! I love this place, I felt so safe as a solo female traveller. Will be back.

So, if you want to find this hostel, don’t look on Google maps. Also, there is no common room. However, the room is really clean, the location is very central and it was really quiet!

This is such a nice, cozy nook right in the center of Hong Kong. The beds are incredibly comfortable and I slept so well. The staff is so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They are even strong, Dan took my luggage up the stairs! Full package. I warmly reccommend it and I hope to return very soon!

Place was nice, Hong Kong is expensive, so this was the best of pricey places. Room is all very open, with the beds right next to the kitchen/dining area, so did have to ask someone to stop talking on their phone at 11pm at night. But otherwise it was fine for 1 night.

Staff is very nice, shower drains are a bit questionable but adds to charm of anything lol. Would stay again!
