Garden Village Hostel & Pool Bar

my Res was for 4 nights, but I couldn't sleep after discovering a bed bug, so I left after 2 days. I Would have left the 1st night, but I was simply too tired to move because I had too much stuff & I didn't want to move at night. The tuk tuk driver staff member was also giving me a hard time when I tried to walk to my next hostel. So after my 2nd trip to move all my stuff over, I left the squashed bed bug on the receptionist desk. He just said "Oh." EYE ROLL 😒 MY BED BUG BITE STILL ITCHES. UG...

Aircon did not work and there were bugs and mosquitoes in the room. Room looked like it had not been cleaned for weeks. Stained sheets, dusty around the whole bed and bathroom was filthy. Would not stay here again.

Backpackers, avoid the Garden Village Guest House. With stained sheets, uncomfortably hot rooms, and unsanitary bathrooms, it's not the place for a pleasant stay. Look elsewhere for better accommodations.

Attention aux personnels très autun qui a voulue me faire payer la totalité alors que javais payé la moitié lors de ma réservation sur Hostel World. L'établissement semble plus accueillir des locataires a l'année et âgé plutôt que des backpakers. Beaucoup de locaux viennent la journée pour profiter de la piscine, aucune fête a thème organisée comme ça l'est indiqué...

Assez décevante, sur mon lit il y avait des cheveux, le sol n’était pas propre. Dans la salle de bain il n’y avait pas de pomme de douche, pas très pratique pour se laver. Il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude. Après le prix est très peu cher. Point positif le personnel est gentil

Chambre double pas très propre. Très vieux et les murs ont des traces de moisissures. Concernant le reste : piscine, accueil, bar, c’est top, activités sportives proposées. Mais surtout : l’emplacement est génial ! A 2 min à pied du night market.

Half of the rooms are not clean, we needed to change rooms because there was black mold on the ceiling and the sheets were stained, but the staff was really accommodating and helpful. The pool and the pool bar are cool, the food is not really good. What made us feel unsafe were the other guests, there are a lot of drunk older men and prost****es are allowed into the hostel even though the front gate is guarded at any time.

Unvorstellbar wie dieses Hostel so doll gelobt und empfohlen wird. Das ganze Hostel war dreckig, sowohl das Zimmer als auch die Badezimmer waren eine absolute Zumutung. Die Matratze hat geschimmelt, das Laken war dreckig, 2 von 4 Toiletten waren kaputt, die Duschköpfe waren alle kaputt, die Toiletten und Waschbecken sahen aus als würde man sie schon lange nicht putzen. Und zudem war jedes Badezimmer übersät mit Minimum 30 Mücken… das Personal hängt nur am Handy und beachtet einen gar nic...

Lots to do within the hostel itself which was awesome! But my private room didn’t have AC and I thought it advertised that it did. Decently clean. Overall positive experience.

El mejor hostal en todo mi viaje! Todo es perfecto ! Buen precio !buena localizacion !piscina ! Limpio seguro . Las personas amables ! The best hostal ever! Perfect! Good price! Good location! Swimming polo! Clean safe. Nice people

This hostel has the best pool/pavilion area in Siem Reap. Provides great value especially for spacious private room. However, AC did not work well and the room was very hot. Would still recommend for anyone looking for a chill hostel.

Sweet spot run by really lovely folks— so helpful in setting us up with a tuktuk driver to see Angkor Wat (thank you, Nakim!), and figuring out what we wanted to see. The pool was quite beautiful, and tasty food, much better than a lot of the tourist fare in the immediate surrounding area. Close to Pub Street chaos, but tucked far away enough that one could avoid all that entirely if desired. Great value for the price too, thank you Garden Village!

The thing is clean and staff helpful, we where there on off season so less people but that wasn't really a problem. Had a private room with no ac, just the fan. The fan was useless, it literally did not move any air so book with ac

Cheap for what you’re getting. Good location No social aspect and pool table isn’t very good to play on. Room could be cleaner as it had a bit of a smell to it. Was full of mosquitos

Fine hostel but the beds were hard and I had no hot water in my room

I come from Thailand event Thai and Cambodia is very crowd border, but I never been here before for my idea this hotel she and crane staff is good. I sing for me. It’s OK maybe next time I come to stay here again the room clean chief the letter wrong food is very good. Very delicious for me. OK thank you

We stayed here 5 nights, it’s a budget hostel and you get budget rooms. You expect that so it’s totally fine. Pool area was nice and staff were always offering to help. Location was perfect. The room was big and overall fine, it did have a smell that never went away like a smoke/mould smell. Shower was hot. Overall - it’s just where you sleep and it was comfy and did the job :)

Awesome value for the money. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are helpful. And you get access to the patio area, pool, and hammocks. It’s in close walking distance from Siem Reap’s main strip, with good restaurants and bars.
