- El lugas estaba sucio. 10 minutos después de hacer ckeck in me acerque a recepción a preguntar si puedo cancelar la reserva sin costo y la recepciionista dijo que si. Cuándo solicite la cancelación sin costo por booking lo rechazaron. No lo recomiendo a nadie.

- The rude front desk lady in the morning (skinny) and the one in the evening (chubby — Friday, 26/09/2025) were both unprofessional and racist. long story short, they assigned us the wrong beds. When they found our belongings on what were supposed to be our beds and in our lockers, they threw them out. They even broke the locks, emptied our things, dumped them in the luggage room, and tore my backpack.

- DO NOT STAY HERE. WiFi is spotty. Guests can put bare smelly feet on sofa, ok with the staff. My bed had bugs. Don't mean Bugs Bunny. There is no breakfast or water. No amenities. This is a very basic no frills hostel with indisputable thin uncomfortable mattress and lumpy pillow should be sent to garbage. No full curtain anywhere to block light. Loud music comes thru wall from pub on weekends. You can't sleep. Shower curtains smell. Better to stay at new comfortable clean Saintlo only 5 min from metro Guy Concordia. Saintlo gives free full breakfast. Delicious. Each dorm has it's own bathroom and shower Great value. ALT is good only for a 1 night emergency. Staff are rude and racist. Disgusting place. AVOID ALT. Don't waste your money here. A health inspector should check out the bugs, unsanitary washroom and smelly mildew shower curtain. Yuk What a dump.

- Åk inte hit om du inte är medicinerad på något sätt, sömnmedicin eller ångestdämpande. Sovrummet påminner om ett arbetsläger i USSR och det är omöjligt att sova därinne eftersom folk går in och ut, tänder lampan, pratar osv. Skulle ha stannat här i 11 nätter men klarade bara 1 natt och var sedan tvungen att flytta till ett annat hostel. Det går inte att dra för någon gardin eller liknande. De gemensamma ytorna är för det mesta fullproppade så det finns knappt någonstans att sitta. Detta betyder att du endast har din säng att vara i. Det bor en mus i köket, under natten såg jag den springa över golvet. Personalen såg det också men verkade inte bry sig. Det absolut värsta hostelet jag bott på, BO INTE HÄR om du inte är i ett vegetativt tillstånd eller medicineras med narkotikaklassade medel.

- Rooms are located in a different building from the kitchen and the front desk. Poor soundproofing of the rooms. The room was relatively clean, but the synthetic bedding was very unpleasant (some hair on it). Showers lack privacy, and some of them are non-functional.

+ Le personnel de l’auberge sont vraiment accueillant, mentions spéciales pour Kass, Isaac et Lamine à la réception (de jour/nuit) et merci à Eloi d’avoir installé des rideaux pour les lits.

+ It is really well-located in Old Montreal, near to the main sights of the city. You can do everything by walk. The bed (mattress) is comfy and also the structure of the bunk beds is rigid, which is very good because when the other person moves in bed, the whole bed doesn't move. The washrooms are clean, the shower area is pretty decent. The staff are really helpful also!

- Mi habitación fue la 1, en la noche cocinaban y el olor se metía a la habitación y duraba mucho tiempo en el cuarto

+ A localização é muito boa. Eles costumam promover atividades para os hóspedes. Na minha chegada tivemos a satisfação de participar de um momento musical, com hóspedes cantando boa música, em um clima de descontração.

- A cama precisa ser substituída, o colchão está muito gasto, fiquei com dores na coluna. Fiquei 3 dias no quarto e não houve limpeza no local.

+ The location is really good, within walkable distance of all attractions. The showers and toilets are clean too
