Alpha House Hostel

Empfehle zu 1000%, bequeme Betten mit Vorhängen, saubere Bäder und Küche, mega nettes und hilfsbereites Staff. Einfach sehr nice!

This place is not called Alpha House Hostel on the actual sign. Its called ”Alojamiento la Saltenita” We walked around for more then one hour trying to find this hostel. Because Hostelworld provides two different addresses and non of them is referring to the hostel by its actual name (which is not Alpha House). This seems to have been a problem for many visitors but still they have not change the actual name on hostel world to the one that they are really called.

Bonne terrasse, bonne literie, cependant avoir une toilette dans la salle de bain commune accessible à tout le monde laisse vraiment à désirer… nous avons été délocalisé pour un lieu moins bien placé dans Salta, nous ne recommandons pas à 100%.

The address on the site is not correct. It took me to Alpha gym. The staff seem to be used to this occurrence and provided me the correct address and it was an additional 18 min walk with all my luggage. Upon arriving at the hostel, the signage didn't have the same name. It's not called Alpha Hostel, instead it's Alojamiento La Saltenita, which is confusing but the staff confirm it's Alpha. Other than that the staff (Priscilla) was very nice and provided some recommendation around the city.

A good location, and a gorgeous dog! Not much going on by the people running it. A very comfy bed in the five share room. An average breakfast with not super fresh bread, but breakfast all the same.

Good establishment but breakfast not complete, just bread and cakes. Everything is extra, if you want a locker with a key, to use the gym, if you want to stay in the hostel after check out. I preferred the other Alpha House Hostel just a few minutes away.

Un très bon Hostel ! Bien propre, avec pleins de choses pour s'occuper, ce qu'il faut pour déjeuner et un personnel très sympa! Je recommande

Great hostel, covers most good things that a hostel should have. Not great ventilation in some of the rooms but overall a good place.

War in Ordnung und ganz gemütlich.

Hostel muy bien ubicado, las habitaciones y los baños están limpios y el personal tiene muy buena onda. Me sentí muy cómodo. Me gusto mucho el gimnasio también. Muchas gracias por todo!

Das Hostel war sehr zentral und ich habe mich wohl gefühlt. Preisleistung war es oke. Es steht das sie 24h Reception haben aber das stimmt nicht. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen.

comfortable and cheap, but also quiet and dark, lacking atmosphere, not very social. Breakfast is very basic

Points positifs : calme, propre, proche du centre ville, lits confortables Point négatifs : douche femme froide allez chez les hommes, laverie très cher et ils m’ont fait rétrécir tous mes vêtements, pas d’échelle pour monter au lit, papier toilette dans le jardin et pas dans les toilettes (aucune idée de la raison)

The hostel is great for the price it has. You have everything you need and the position allows you to explore salta really easily. The only thing is that it was actually a really quiet place when i stayed there, so it's suitable for you if you need some rest from the party, but might be a little to flat if you are a solo traveller willing to have fun. Anyway i would go back for sure

Desayuno completo y limpieza perfecta pero no hay seguridad, es decir que cualquier persona puede entrar en el Hostel ya que una parte es dedicada a un gimnasio. No se puede dejar el equipaje. La puerta del baño se puede abrir del exterior, no hay intimidad.

Bien, bon pour le prix, juste une chose les chambres ont peu de climatisation, donc il fait chaud

We only stayed one night at the Alpha Hostel. The people working there were friendly and helpful. unfortunately, there were only two bathrooms for all of the hostel guests, the kitchen was dirty and badly equipped....

This hostel needs a little bit of love and definetly more bathrooms! When everyone has a tour booked at 7Am pickup you have to get up really early to manage to get a bathroom to brush your teeth. Rooms don't get fresh air through windows, because they are windowless. The dorms have a fan. Electricity outlets next to the bed are missing. But the dorms have lockers. The staff is super nice & the dog is definitely the highlight of the hostel. For those on a budget this is a really good choice.

This hostel is literally build into the gym or the gym is built into the hostel. Either or, the host are amazing. Alpha is the community dog and runs the hostel. The vibe is amazing and it seems that all Argentinians there can play guitar. There is no AC but it was not hot for me. The location is nice to, as you are in the heart of the city. Gym price is cheap and they have eggs for cheaper than any market price. Also they cooked Choripan when I was there. Highly recommend.
