Wir hatten das Zimmer 315 (Bad en-suite) im 3. Stock.
This was the worst hostel of the hostels I stayed at in NZ. The bunks lack privacy screens which every other hostel I stayed at had. There was also a huge cleanliness issue with both the in suite bathroom and communal bathroom which seems to barely ever get cleaned. There were tons of pee and blood stains littering the mens bathroom. Additionally it seems a lot of the fixtures were not assembled properly as the shower door didn't shut fully for the in suite bathroom and the bathroom door itself ...
We wanted to cancel but it was non refundable so instead they offered that we could change the dates, which I happily accepted. We planned to still come on that date but the flight couldn't land so I showed up the next day and asked to stay for one night. There was still a bed left but they offered me to pay 75$ for this 8 bed dorm because I replied to their email too late, so I was wasting my money and this little flexibility for changes upset me.
Poorly thought out set up - no hooks or storage anywhere in room or bathroom. Bathroom was filthy and smelled bad. Very loud hostel - both inside and outside. Temperature for room can’t be controlled unless you ask staff.
They lost my very expensive things and don’t seem to care. They’re also rude. I wouldn’t recommend.
Not enough space at all. No room over my head, couldn't even sit up straight in the bed. No room for backpack.
Sehr dreckig, nichts zum wohlfühlen
The toilet in our room burst and flooded our room while we were asleep. Unaware of what was going on staff entered our room and attempted to dry the floor. We were then charged $300 with no receipt upon check out because “we failed to let the staff know of the issue”. No clear communication on what actually caused the issue, we were essentially blamed for something we had no idea about. All clothes were wet and I felt we needed a level of compensation but nothing was offered.
A really inappropriate man stayed in our room and made disgusting comments to us all night about taking our underwear off as we slept
Some of the staff can barely speak proper English, let alone understand it.

Rachel is an absolute legend!! She was sooo helpful to Lewis and I. The staff are the highlight of this place. Also Yasmin is a legend as well.
For the price, you get a lot less compared to other hostels in the same area. The rooms are drab, you do not get provided with a towel, and the AC did not work at all. On top of that, you are located amongst many bars so there was extremely loud music blasting until 3:00 AM on a Wednesday.
The beds don't have curtains and the electrical outlets are quite far from the bed; that's the only bad thing, otherwise it's fine.
Not the best hostel to be honest. We stayed in the 8 bed dorm. There are no plug sockets any where near the beds so you can’t charge your phone unless it’s on the other side of the room. The storage lockers are really small too. No curtains in the rooms and beds are so creaky and shaky, so if the person above/below you moves you will be woken up. There was a balcony attached to the room which was great but it gets pretty loud with the bar across the street. The kitchen was an abomination. It...
Property was okay, amazing location. The facilities weren’t great and needs a bit update. Was okay for the price but wouldn’t stay again compared to other hostels
Good location but very noisy until well into the morning from neighbouring bars.
Super hôtel. Super emplacement. Super tarifs
I recently stayed at this hostel and overall had a good experience. The location was great and made it really easy to get around and explore the area. A huge shoutout to James at the info desk, who was absolutely fantastic during our stay. He went above and beyond to help us sort out another night’s accommodation when our plans changed. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful.
The wifi doesn’t work at ALL (at least from my room), there are no privacy curtains, no sockets or shelves next to the beds and it is unfortunately insanely loud because of the bar. Do yourself a favour and stay at Adventure Hostel Queenstown. Only good thing is that the staff is friendly and the check-in process is easy. Overall quite disappointing.
L’emplacement est intéressant, mais il n’y a qu’une seule cuisine pour tout l’hostel, et les ustensiles sont vieillissants. L’état général de l’auberge n’est clairement as à la hauteur de sa note sur l'app.
Perfect location to spend some days in Queenstown! All staff were very helpful and all facilities were clean :)
We stayed in a private room with en-suite and the room was huge! Really good space, I didn’t love how the bathroom was a wet room as the floor was absolutely soaked when using the shower but otherwise nice and clean. Quite noisy on the streets outside as there is some bars there. Good sized kitchen.
Average hostel. Missing simple things like power and curtains on the beds.
No curtains, no plugs, barely a locker, most are broken anyway, beds are loud and uncomfortable, you can’t move in them unless you want to wake the whole place up. The room shakes because music from the local bar is so loud. Bathrooms constantly closed at peak times for cleaning, yet still smell and don’t feel clean. Kitchen is constantly busy, most of the time with staff, who are loud, and always playing music over guests loudly. I found another hostel with availability for my last 2 nights...
Bad vibes lots of local workers seemed very clicky not a good atmosphere, no plugs by bed wouldn’t recommend
no electricity or curtains on the bed, kitchen very small
Great private room with ensuite and balcony. Hotel quality at an affordable price
If it was less expensive I wouldn‘t complain, but 340 NZD per night for a single room without a window, creeking bed and just an okay bathroom is too much in my opinion.
The Nomads in Queenstown has a great location and very nice staff. The bathroom and kitchen could be cleaner, but were okay. However I stayed in a 6 bed and it was way to small, no space for the luggage and the lockers were all broken and not really safe to put your belongings in
Top Lage, Badezimmer und Küche waren in Ordnung könnten etwas sauberer sein, Personal war sehr nett.
