We were expecting more. The rooms were large and clean, restaurant good, though the common bathrooms were often dirty and with no toilet paper. Only two showers were actually working, with only cold water available. And last but not least, one night like at 6 pm we found dog poop on one of the bathroom rugs, we were disgusted but still, not their fault since there are many dogs wandering around the village, the problem is that they did not clean it until the next morning. Unacceptable.
Würde nicht wieder dort schlafen wollen. Toiletten/Duschen waren nicht sauber. Es war sehr hellhörig. Es halten sich dort relativ viele Straßenhunde auf.. Da es kein fließendes Wasser gab bzw. der Wasserdruck angeblich sehr schwach war, konnte man mit Wassereimern duschen (an sich überhaupt kein Problem), jedoch gab es die meiste Zeit kein Wasser in den Eimern (entsprechend konnte auch nicht gespült werden). Daher war es sehr unhygienisch. Den MitarbeiterInnen hat es wenig gekümmert.
Wouldn't want to sleep there again. Toilets/Shower were not clean. It was very dirty. There are relatively many stray dogs there. Since there was no running water or the water pressure was supposedly very low, you could shower with Wassereimern (which was no problem at all), however, most of the time there was no water in the Eimern (and therefore could not be washed). Therefore it was very unhygienic. The staff was not taken care of.
Staff were wonderful and the location was great but the showers didn’t have hot water, didn’t feel especially clean and smell of the toilets carried through the hostel. It wouldn’t put me off staying again but did put a dampener on an otherwise lovely stay!
Decent Hostel for PB. Rooms very clean good wifi and friendly staff. Only downside (or upside) is that it’s located a bit further away from the main area.
Showers didn’t work for the 2 nights I stayed there. They said it was because of the rain but no other facility seemed to have the same problem. At some point not even water to wash hands. Had to shower using bucket or bd hose. Staff were super nice and room was nice but not being able to shower after a day at the beach were quite annoying
A nice hostel for a quick stay in Port Barton. In the off season there isn’t much going on here and the restaurant is closed. Facilities very basic but the room was well kept and the AC was working well. Good place to stop for a few relaxed days on the way back from El Nido.
I enjoyed my stay there! nice dorm with beds with their own locker and plug. Nice environment at the restaurant. The bad thing was the problems with the none water for the shower, but everything else was good! Recommended
Good value for money, but not great. Dorms are a bit dark and dusty, showers didn't work when I was there due to low water pressure. Not a very social hostel and quite far from everything compared to other hostels.
The rooms are nice, beds comfy, AC works well. Not much going on in terms of socialness and the water situation is a bit annoying (no pressure most of the day). Would stay elsewhere if they weren’t always fully booked! But does a job if you need somewhere to stay last minute like me.
Hostel was basic but you get what you pay for! Rooms and bathrooms were okay! Only downside is there was one staff member working there and he was rarely at the front desk. We waited a few hours at the reception to book transport through the hostel and no one turned it so we booked it elsewhere!

Stayed for a week, loved it. staff are great, loved cooking with Lorraine & everyone else in back of house. Beds are really comfortable, clean, great ac. nice atmosphere. 5 min walk to beach. excellent place to chill out after the craziness of El nido/coron. only issue was someone took my old, stinky birkenstocks, perhaps on accident, but staff went out of their way to help by giving me 500 pesos to buy new slippers. thank you so much!!
We stayed just one night in the mixed dorms but it was a great experience. The dorms are equipped with lockers, there are many bathrooms and showers. Also the surrounding area are great !! Thanks

Vorne befindet sich ein Restaurant und im hinteren Bereich sind die Hütten mit den Schlaf-Bereichen. Insgesamt hatte ich ein positives Erlebnis. Die Unterkunft befindet sich 5 Gehminuten vom Strand und den Restaurants/Bars entfernt.
There is a restaurant in front and in the back area are the Cottages with the Sleeping Areas. overall I had a positive experience. the accommodation is 5 minutes walking distance from the beach and the Restaurants/Bars.
Great stay at Dam Dam. Staff are great and the cafe serves delicious food!

Nothing bad to say about this place! Good food, nice staff (especially Samantha!) and nice dorms. Enough showers & toilets for everyone! Wifi doesnt work well in the rooms, but it does in common areas & outside the rooms. Booked the boat trip through them and it was amazing! I think the location for the hostel is perfect aswell. Very happy I chose to stay with them, salamat po!
