Bayano Ecolodge

An amazing experience! we stayed in an open kind of cabin, made from wood and palmleaves, overlooking the lake. It was big, had it's own little bathroom and a super comfy bed. We were there all alone for 3 days, only with the family that cooked our meals and brought those to us at our cabin. We only heard the water beneath us, the howler monkeys in the morning, and all kinds of birds. It was really a wonderful and totally relaxing stay.

This is an excellent hostel for getting away from the city, falling asleep to the sound of the lake and just enjoying nature and extreme relaxation. The staff were great. They cooked us amazing meals, and even made something special for my 7 month daughter who came with us. The directions are easy, just use their WhatsApp number to find the restaurant and it’s a short 20 min boat ride to the lodge. Highly recommend
