Ben Lettery Connemara Hostel

Tres bel emplacement (vue magnifique), personnel accueillant, et auberge propre. Nous avons en revanche été déçues par le lieu, qui n’était pas très chaleureux, ni pratique : - Très mauvaise insonorisation des chambres (nous entendions les conversations et les portes claquer en permanence) ; - Les sanitaires ne sont pas très confortables (manque d’intimité et d’aménagements pour poser les affaires), - notre chambre était assez austère et sans rangements. + : le salon ultra cosy avec la cheminée, le petit-déjeuner avec les flapjack ultra bons - : impossible de baisser le chauffage, les lits superposés bougent trop dès que celui du haut bouge dans son lit, l'une des douches n'avait quasiment pas de pression d'eau

Enjoyed meeting up with some folk on our 1st night though was a bit noisy at times during the night and also the front door was noisy at times when being shut. Our 2nd night was much quieter as we had the dorm to ourselves which provided for a quieter night and better sleep.

Tout simplement au top ! En pleine nature, départ de balades à pied. Personnel hyper sympathique, on se sent en famille, cocooning, petit feu de cheminée et plaid avec un bon livre ❤️ Petit-déjeuner très bon. Cuisine hyper équipée. Assez de douches et de toilettes pour tous. Il fait bien calme! Quelques petits rafraîchissements de peinture mais rien de grave ! Nous reviendrons !

A belated thank you to Benny! such a lovely stay in the tent. Breakfast was lush- the homemade breadwas delicious 😋 Benny very open to answering any questions- ranging from the practical to the historical to the random. Absolutely lovely vibe. would thoroughly recommend. love anna and joaquín.

I had a wonderful time at the hostel and felt very welcome right from the moment I arrived. The people at the hostel are super nice. They give good tips about the area and are always approachable. They are also very helpful. I left my jacket on the bus, and the hostel helped me get it back. They also kindly drove me to the bus stop, which is a bit further away! The breakfast is also delicious, with homemade granola bars and homemade bread. I would recommend the accommodation to anyone. Thanks!

This hostel has a fantastic vibe due to the great owner/ host. He lights a fire on the evenings, bakes breakfast bread and is super informative. Great location as so peaceful being out of Clifden but so accessible to the Arran islands, Kylemore abbey and Connemara National Park.

Great hostel in such a special location! Only stayed one night but wish I stayed longer, staff were so friendly as well! Only downside was I didn’t realise it was a family friendly hostel and there were kids running and making noise til 10pm at night, after a long day that’s not what you want to hear through the walls! They were also playing in the bathroom which made showering uncomfortable as their adult was not with them

The staff made us feel very welcome, giving us tips about what to do and getting in touch when we left our wallet behind at the hostel. The location is idyllic with a fantastic hike up Ben Lettery and Ben Gower just at your doorstep. Clean, comfortable, spacious and lovely hot showers! Would thoroughly recommend going! Thanks to all the team :)

Très bien, personnel très pro et agréable. Seul bémol, la partie camping est très proche de la route ce qui est un peu bruyant la nuit...

By far the best hostel I have stayed in. Beautiful scenery and nature along with kind and friendly staff make this hostel well worth the trip out to Connemara!

une vraie perle dans un cadre sublime ! staff adorable et prévenant. je reviendrai (par contre il faut vraiment faire quelque chose concernant la porte d'entrée qui claque extrêmement fort et vous réveille au petit jour) il me semble indispensable de prévenir les gens dès leur arrivée qu'ils doivent faire attention.
