The location was perfect and that is almost the only positive thing I can say about this hostel. Compared to other hostels I’ve been to in Thailand this was the bare minimum. The bunk beds were really small and there was no place to put your belongings, also no shelf or anything. The doors of the room were always open and the building is very noisy. Always loud music playing and people were always loud. For the price you pay here you could get a much better hostel

Ok for a short stay, staff are helpful for getting trips organised. Facilities were cleaned daily, but did smell like cats. No locks on the bedroom doors. Nice chill area upstairs. Gym equipment available which was good

Staff were so helpful! Left my expensive products in the shower and they put them to the side for me to pick up. Clean and good vibe. Yummy food!

Ik vond het een prima hostel, het zit op een fijne locatie en het personeel was heel aardig en behulpzaam. Ik vond de gezamelijke ruimte niet heel uitnodigend qua sfeer, en er was 1 douche defect toen ik er was, dus we moesten vaak een tijdje wachten op de douche. Het was er wel schoon en netjes en je krijgt een handdoek, ik vond zelf een fleece dekentje minder fijn om onder te slapen maar dat is meer mijn voorkeur. Prima verblijf gehad!

I only stayed one night but I didn’t really like this hostel. The room smelt of sweat and I didn’t really like the location. Good atmosphere if you want to sit out the front and socialise.

The hostel is very social and you get integrated easily. It was very clean and activities are offered daily. However, people smoke a lot in the outside area all day long. That's why it smells like smoke and weed also inside the hostel and one night even in our dorm.

The hostel was in a great location and they had lots of options for excursions which was fantastic. However the constant stench of weed in the common area was nauseating. I understand that it is legal in Thailand and I don’t have issues with people smoking weed, but it was such a constant, you couldn’t escape the smell even when in your room. There seemed to be no control of it and there was nowhere to go if it wasn’t something you were interested in.

Okay, I did a mistake that I booked 4 nights in advance. if I didn’t, I would probably change place after the first night. People at the hostel were amazing - But without them, the hostel quality is below average for the price. The dorms are dirty, plug I had at my bed didn’t work… and when I see the staff arguing with the people in the reviews doesnt help. There are definately better hostels to stay in chiang mai for this price :)))

One of our favorite hostels we have stayed at in Southeast Asia. Great staff, beds, showers, social areas and the PS5 was clutch.

Had the best stay here during 3 months of traveling!! Vibes are so social and comforting really feels like a big family especially because Joe is so interactive with everyone🩷

Super auberge conviviale, avec de nombreuses activités proposés à de bons tarifs. Le personnel est très sympa et serviable. Grosse mention pour le matelas du lit qui est super confortable. De plus, vous trouverez à 2 minutes à pieds de nombreux restaurants et street foods pour vous restaurer.

Great hostel, comfy beds, good vibe as well, social but not party, the staff are amazing especially Becky, Nicha and Jade. Will be back

Family Home 2 has the best environment out of everywhere i’ve been. The community area out the front and inside set it up perfectly to socialise or you can chill if needed. Becky, Jade and Nicha are the absolute best; super friendly and welcoming. The football is great when you get a team together, PS5, pool table.

There's a reason this is the most popular hostel in CM. I came here years on my first trip to Thailand. Was happy to return. The best location and the nicest people.

Family home to Chiang Mai was amazing. The owner is cool and met a lot of good. People would recommend to stay here pretty social but also laid-back type of vibe.

Lovely hostel! Comfy beds with 2 pillows, quiet air con, lovely bathrooms (with nice shampoo & body wash included!) very social but also quiet at night. The owner was so friendly and helpful too, thank you :)

Not a party hostel but SUPER social!! Meant so many cool people and it is in a great location right near a really good market.

One of my favourite hostels on my trip so far! I loved everything about this hostel that I decided to extend my stay! Very comfy beds with 2 pillows! It’s very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. The breakfast is really good aswell. Very social due to the smart layout but not party social! Which I really liked. Will definitely return!

great, social hostel with a fun vibe. stayed here for songkran. a little intense at times (hard to walk through the door without being soaked). but the room was quiet and facilities were very good. lovely staff

very social hostel, personally a little too overstimulating for me, but the community was very friendly. plenty of card games, fifa, and pool in the communal space. only issue is no proper place to hang laundry
