    Overall fine place to stay at, people were friendly and the staff as well. The bar is a nice place to chill at and it’s close to the main station. BUT our roomate found bedbugs in her bed and we did find some in our luggage after checking out, so watch out for that

    BED BUGS & BAD MANAGEMENT Do not stay here Stayed here and experienced horrific bed bug infestation Upon check out I requested a refund and was asked to fill out a form. They did not process a refund. 8 emails had to be sent before they even addressed the issue, still no resolution after 10+ emails.

    I personally didn't have any big issues while staying here. Although the door for our room after entering the code, would not always open, you had to give it one or two quick big shoves to get it open. No fan in our room but the window open kept it fairly moderate, the bathrooms weren't super dirty but definitely were not clean either. One shower only had cold water coming out of it. Floor 6 is not the floor with bed bugs thankfully. Was in the mixed dorm and everyone was nice and respectful.

    The property is infested with bed bugs! I was bitten the first night and when I saw them, I recorded a video and showed to the manager and the helpdesk, requesting checkout because I didn’t wanna stay there but I still had 2 days stay. At that time, they promised to refund my stay and do my laundry for free, which they did. However, ever since I left Copenhagen, the property has ghosted me! They don’t reply on their emails and their phone number is not reachable and directs to their email address. So, I ha

    We have had multiple issues with the hostel mainly regarding bed bugs. The staff have been extremely unhelpful and rude. It took multiple complaints for them to even give us a different room. They disregarded any concerns even with physical evidence. We have had to spend an absorbent amount of money getting rid of the bed bugs. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

    PLEASE DO NOT STAY AT COPENHAGEN DOWNTOWN HOSTEL. They have a severe bed bug infestation! I notified reception about this and they changed us to a different room but didn’t offer compensation for the bed bugs or even appear concerned in the slightest about the infestation! I emailed Hostelworld and the hostel itself about this issue and received absolutely no help. The washrooms and showers were disgusting and filthy - had moths and bugs, smelled gross always. No room cleaning service either.

    Everything seemed fine until I left and found a bed bug crawling across my comforter. I felt the bite the night before but thought it was a mosquito bite. I told the front desk person working, but all she did was say sorry and didn't do anything else. The atmosphere was nice and the events they held for visitors were appreciated, but I will likely be weary of coming back after that response.

    Sooo the hostel and the bar are all around nice. There are some point's that i don't really like: - you have to pay to store your luggage once you checkout - only smokers are allowed to stay outside the bar in the night - i got bedbugs after 3nights, saw it when i already checked out. But when i told them they said they would check the room and do the necessary for this case.

    Watch out for bed bugs for sure! We found one in one of the bathrooms(of all places) but didn't see anyone in the room luckily. Convenient location and great bar area(especially downstairs)

    The facilities weren’t good, one sink for a floor of about 20 rooms. My room was clean-ish, but after hearing about and seeing the result of bed bugs in other rooms I felt ill at ease in my room.

    !!!!!!!!Honestly, this hostel has a nice location, but my trip has simply gone bad because this hostel has bedbugs! Two of my roomates got them (I was staying in a 4-bed-womens-only-room). We talked to other guests and apparently our room wasnt the only one. The hostel seems to simply move the guests from one room to another if they complain about anything. They dont do anything against the bedbugs!! Would not recommend!!

    I got eaten by bedbugs. I reported it and they denied it, when asking for a refund they offered one free night and then ignored it. does not respond to messages, arrogant. avoid this place

    Good location. Bar was social and fun. Had to deal with a major bed bug problem though. The staff was kind enough to switch me into a different room and washed my clothes for free, but definitely sucked to deal with that to begin with.

    The hostel was really nice but the top floor had a really strong stench throughout especially my room. Tbh it may have been a roommate who stank. But right as I get there someone is telling me the bed next to mine has bed bugs. I get my sheets changed but that was a bad start to the hostel. The hostel also had no mingling and was isolating at times. When I also tried to check out early in the morning the staff were so inattentive I think they may have been drunk still from their night out

    Bed bugs... my entire body is covered in bed bug bites and is now blemished. I have 20+ bites. I met four other people also afflicted. This is a major issue that this hostel is not taking seriously. They need to dispose of their beds and fumigate all of the rooms. It's disgusting.

    I have stayed in many hostels around the world and this is by far the worst experience that I've had. I am writing this review with half of my body covered with bed bug bites!! I stayed for a few days and it was a real disaster. The lights in the room were not working, no hot showers, no lights in the shower or toilets. Clogged toilets were common. There was so much noise in the nearby rooms and outside my window that I could not sleep. The other people who I met in the hostel were all using ear plugs. The

    Overall, the staff was really friendly and the location was simply amazing. It is a very vibrant and lively place, the perfect hostel to meet people . However, after my first night there I woke with bed bug/ flea bites all over my body. Even though I recognise that this can happen, I still think that in this case there should be a refund or the beds should be checked so thoroughly beforehand that it just doesnt happen at all. Because it severely affected me the next few days.
