KOKO Party Hostel, Ao Nang Beach (18-40)

This hostel is terrible! Do not stay here! Stay at X Base instead it is so much better. This is a so called ‘party’ hostel, it’s not, its so boring, I didn’t even know there were reps until the 2nd day when they came round at 11am knocking on doors asking people to do their overpriced tour and that was the only time I saw them. The downstairs stinks like sewage it’s disgusting, there is 0 atmosphere and the pub crawl was not a proper pub crawl, the rep just sat in the corner vaping, he...

Hostel was fine, a party hostel, good location But used the laundry service and got my laundry given back with holes cut with scissors out of the crutch of my underwear which is really disgusting. Don’t use the laundry service! And if any of the management reads this please review whoever you have on laundry service!

Overall good hostel, quite loud until 1-2AM but I was not too bothered. Staff was also wonderful. Bad rating purely for this: One thing that I found absolutely freaking outrageous was 60 BAHT FOR A SMALL BOTTLE OF WATER!!!! Luckily there was a 7-Eleven nearby but I do believe the hostel should have either free refill stations or decent priced water. Absolutely disgraceful.

Really did NOT like this property. Every time we walked back into the hostel, the staff at the front desk couldn’t even be bothered to look up at us. Second, the music is LOUD! I’m not tryna be a Karen, it was legitimately pounding until early in the morning. There is no staff available after a certain hour, and all that is left is a sign on the computer saying that the “music will be turned off after midnight.” Well that wasn’t wholly true because our first night it was going until 1A...

On may 9th 2023 at 9 am in the morning , we faced the most horrible experience from the receptionist. She banged on our door and started yelling at us . And used profanity downstairs when we trying to go out of the hotel . This literally put us off for the rest of the trip . If you want to have a heated argument and love unorganized hostel experience , this is the Togo place for sure . The music runs throughout the night . Staff are rude and argumentative.

Für Menschen die nur zum feiern vor Ort sind, ist das Hostel vermutlich okay. Einrichtung in dem Privatroom ist quasi nicht vorhanden. Zudem könnte es etwas sauberer sein. Die Hausregeln sind etwas unsinnig.

would not recommend anyone stay here ever. the bathroom (only one shared bathroom for whole hostel) was putrid and the floors were were just puddles. the bathroom is around the corner from a steep staircase, of which my friend came out of and severely injured herself because she slipped down the whole staircase from wet bathroom. the employees were negligent and never cleaned the wet floors after we had told them what happened after our trip to the hospital. not to mention the smell in there was...

Nice clean hostel. Good rooms with comfy beds with curtain. Staff really friendly. It is a party hostel, be prepared for the beds to shake, so loud ear plugs don’t block the noise. Only come here if you want to party not to sleep!

Very loud and weird bar downstairs making it impossible to sleep. (I was at third floor, can’t imagine 1 or 2) the bar is loud like a club but without any dance floor. If you are a long term traveler who can’t afford going out everyday (especially in ao nang) don’t expect to make friends. Clean and private beds with curtains. Wouldn’t go back!

Don't trust the positive reviews: they give free joints to anyone who leaves a 5-star review. The hostel is located above the bar, which is the only "common area." There is no pressure in the private bathroom, so you have to go to the shared bathroom (really great shower). If you are over 25, this is probably not the place for you. The location is great. People were smoking inside the building even though it wasn't allowed.

When it says a party hostel . It’s just a hostel above a bar . Theres no socialising going on . No reps there trying to get people involved with things . No place to chill apart from your own bed . Unless you want to sit in a noisy loud bar on a really busy street . Music absolutely blasting until 2am

Es war ein richtiges Partyhostel und dadruch war es sehr einfach Menschen zu treffen. Pool war sehr sauber. 10min zum Beach. Ausflüge und Transporte übers Hostel buchbar. Laur am Abned

The staff were doing balloons with the guests the blonde young one was very weird. Other lady was very nice. The bed is the most comfty bed I have ever slept in in a hostel was so bliss . No smoking area :( can’t expect much for a party hostel.

The hostel is great if u just want to party. The whole building is a bit smelly and nasty. A lot of young 18 years old lads who just want to party. U can’t really trust the reviews because the hostels gives free joints for a 5 star review. Wouldn’t stay there agin!

Fint nok til prisen. Vær obs på der er fest hver dag så man kan nok først falde i søvn sent. Sengene er virkelig hårde og der er ikke noget sted at hænge sit tøj/håndklæde når man er i bad. Sødt personale! Lidt træls nøglekort der ikke virker altid - men så har receptionen åben 24/7

Totaal 2x bijgeboekt, heerlijke bedden en genoeg ruimte in m’n dorm. Ik zat op de 3e etage wat het beter maakt wat betreft het geluid. Chill ruimte is in het café zelf is op zich wel te doen maar wat lig ruimte was ook fijn geweest. Hostel is erg hygiënisch!!

Definitely a party hostel but music only goes until 1am. The private room was nice for what it was but the Wi-Fi was not connecting on the 3rd floor at all.

Expérience désastreuse, il y avait une crackhead dans ma chambre qui terrorisait tout le monde. Personne n’a rien osé dire, moi je ne suis pas restée une nuit de plus ici. L’ambiance est délétère il n’y avait que des gens de plus de 50 ans au bar de hostel, ce qui est étrange vu le nom dl’hostel c’est un peu trompeur. Bref ambiance et sécurité à revoir.

Rooms are clean and cheaper price. It is very close to the beach, 7/11.The staff are very nice and friendly.24/7 reception.that is good. They also offer alot of activities so it's a great place.
