Talardkao Balcony Krabi

Yin is nice but I wouldn't describe her as professional. I booked, and paid for, a private room with a shower but my shower was freezing and I was later told it was because it was broken. I shouldn't have been sold a room that didn't have hot water without being told. I was then told to use another shower which was fine the room was vacant but that was only once during my stay. There were also issues with the communal showers,but I still paid full price. it's an hour's walk into town.

Ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Hostel mit Stil. Die Eigentümerin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Perfekt um nicht mitten in der Stadt zu sein, jedoch empfehle ich Oropax zu benutzen, da das Haus an einer befahrenen Straße liegt. Wir haben uns die 3 Nächte sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nice friendly and helpful staff. The location wasn’t great. Not much walkable. Not much of a social hostel atmosphere either. Was hoping to meet other travelers but there wasn’t really much community place to gather. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind though. I ended up leaving a little early and found a place closer to the action in Ao Nang area.

If you want to stay in Krabi but prefer avoiding Ao Nang this is a great spot. You will need a motorbike to get around, the hostel itself has very good brand new ones for rent, alternatively there are good services nearby. 7 eleven is very close by. Rooms are nice and clean, the balcony is a good hangout spot. Remember: toilets are not only upstairs, so check downstairs for more 😉

j'ai passé seulement une seule nuit et tout s'est tres bien passé. j'avais choisi cet hostel pour la proximité avec la station de bus (15-20min a pied),tres pratique. La personne sur place est tres sympathique et accueillante. javais eu un problème de réservation, et elle a communiqué très rapidement avec moi pour me proposer des solutions alternatives. En tant que voyageuse seule, tout a repondu a mes attentes en terme de sécurité, propriété et comfort.

if you want an authentic Thai experience, this is the place for you. It is a little far from downtown Krabi town, but was the perfect location to get to the Tiger Temple and head to the airport the next day. Had one of the best meals of my trip next door and was the only foreigner there.

Welcoming and smiling family. The place was clean. The only downside would be the location, it's on a busy street corner and not really soundproofing, so you hear a lot of car noise.

Property was clean enough & the lady was kind but her children are a bit feral & would come up to you & hit you with a ruler… would say stay in Ao Nang if you are looking to spend time in Krabi as there was not much to do in Krabi town. Regardless, this hostel was fine for a short stopover, but did not have much of a social atmosphere.

Great hostel run by a really lovely family. I needed to get to the airport early in the morning and was concerned my taxi wouldn’t show up so the owner offered to drive me if that was the case. Hostel itself was great and had complimentary tea and coffee downstairs. 10/10 would recommend!

we had an excellent stay at this hostel. the family are extremely welcoming and are always around to answer any questions you have. The location is quiet, perfect for a short stay if you are going to the airport, or for couples staying in a private room, as grabs to krabi town and ao nang are cheap. the room we stayed in was clean, with good ac.

I enjoyed my stay here. It's a really nice hostel that is very clean. It is not very social but as far as I could tell that is more situation of it being in Krabi Town. I still had a very relaxing time here. The mattresses are quite hard which I appreciated. There is a locker big enough to fit a large backpack and more (probably also a large suitcase). The balcony is nice to relax. The hostel is about a 10 min Bike Ride from the Black Crab night market and the town center but close to tiger cave

Lovely staff, the best chill place to stay

Amazing hostel, definitely the best I’ve stayed in in Thailand so far. A little far from Ao Nang (you can rent a scooter from the hostel directly), but it was actually preferable for me. Super clean, peaceful and quiet, ran by a lovely family — free coffee and bananas! Stay here if you’re visiting Krabi.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a private room which was incredibly spacious. The staff were lovely and helpful. There was a communal balcony right outside our room so sometimes it could get a little noisy. Perfect location if you’re catching a flight. The hostel itself is around 30 mins from Ao Nang so recommend getting a bike! Great stay, great facilities.

Definitely a little out of the way but the staff wasn’t so so nice and the room was great and we loved staying there even if it was just for one night!!

the hostel was quiet and peaceful, very clean and the staff were super lovely! we stayed there one night as it is near the airport which was ideal. you may need to find some travel into krabi to find places to eat etc

Nice place to stay if you have to go to the airport next day : )

The room was fine and the owners were very, very kind and accomodating. I also rented a scooter and it was a very nice experience too. The only thing about the facilities I didn't like, was the space. The toilets and showers are in compartments that are maybe around 1x1 metre in size and the doors open to the inside, so for me with 1.90m it was: A) very hard to sit on the toilet or stand up from it, it just felt too cramped B) very hard to keep towels or clothes dry inside the shower

Meilleur hostel que j’ai fait en thaïlande jusqu’ici, parfait si vous avez un vol le lendemain pour l’emplacement et la famille qui le tient est juste adorable. Tout était propre et c’était agréable.

Lovely family run business, took me to the airport in the morning. Lovely peaceful stay.

This is probably the nicest hostel we’ve stayed in, it’s run by the sweetest family who are so so friendly and so generous. We had access to the kitchen and washing machine if we needed it and there were plenty of showers so no waiting around. The whole place is spotlessly clean and honestly had no faults. Would 100% recommend to everyone and can’t wait to visit again in the future

This was a great spot away from the craziness of Ao Nang, if you want a night as if it were in a little boutique hotel then I recommend this. I wanted a day with a room to myself and that is what I got. Also very kind of the owners to drive me to the airport so early in the morning! Thank you
