- Room was so narrow. Room was so nousy because it is located by the kitchen and shower. When someone cooks in kitchen it's smell comes in to the room where we stay. It was like nightmare stay. In the early morning, some guests started to cook something for breakfast and make nousy that bothered us because the kitchen was by the our room. They forced us to rent bed sheet. It was so unpredictable because they didn't inform before we come there. I must ask that why they don't rent pillows and similar staff? In short, I have never advise to stay there when I consider the price was also quite high as much as avarage hotels price.

+ Personale e posizione
- Viaggio molto spesso e in solitaria quindi per questo scelgo sempre di alloggiare in ostello e ne ho girati molti. Il castnea secondo il mio giudizio non ha una location adeguata per ospitare tutto quel numero di persone. Gli spazi in comune sono ridotti ci sono soltanto 4 bagni e solo nella mia camera alloggiavano 16 persone considerando che era tutto pieno credo ci fossero circa una cinquantina di ospiti anche le docce sono soltanto 4 piccole e con la tenda in plastica che non è il massimo dell’igiene. La cucina e gli spazi in comune dove poter mangiare o passare del tempo libero sono piccoli e se tutti gli host avessero la necessità di cucinare o di mangiare non ci sarebbe posto per più della metà di loro. Per due mattine di fila sono dovuta scendere a fare pipì nel bar di sotto dato che ho aspettato per più di un ora che si liberasse il bagno. In quattro giorni che sono stata lì non ho visto mai le pulizie. La camera da 16 posti letto era piccolissima i letti tutti attaccati tra loro gli armadietti ( due piccolissimi gli altri più grandi non si sa perché) sono praticamente in faccia alla persona che dorme nel letto di sotto. I materassi sono vecchi e fanno una sorta di buca.Non c’è spazio per mettere niente ed infatti sembrava più un deposito bagagli dato che ogni ospite ha dovuto lasciare le sue cose in giro. Anche a livello di igiene soprattutto dopo la pandemia credo che quella stanza possa ospitare al massimo la metà delle persone. Non sono riuscita a vedere le altre stanze. La reception con personale molto gentile sicuramente ma è aperta per pochissime ora al giorno e quindi non ce nessuno per la maggior parte del tempo negli ostelli invece la reception è aperta sempre e c’è sempre qualcuno in presenza. Come ultima cosa ho dovuto pagare le lenzuola. Non capisco come sia possibile se io prenoto e pago per un posto letto le lenzuola dovrebbero essere sempre comprese.

- לצערי עזבתי את ההוסטל לאחר שביליתי שם יום. ההוסטל הוא ממש לא מה שראיתי בתמונות בהזמנה!! ולא יכולתי להישאר במקום הזה, שלא היה נקי, היו בעיות מים בשירותים (מים בשירותים לא מתנקזים, מים בכיור לא מתנקזים), אין אוויר בשטחים המשותפים ויש ריח רע (מקלחות וכל שאר החללים שהם לא חדר השינה והמטבח שבו יש חלונות). הזמנתי 7 לילות ללא החזר, ולצערי הם לא מצאו דרך לפצות אותי על כך שלא הייתי שם. הסיבה לא הייתה אני, אלא חוסר ההתאמה לפרסומים שלהם! בפרסום מראים הכל כחדש, יפה ומטופח, כשבמציאות יש הרבה דברים ישנים שלא מתחדשים. בתמונות מופיע אסור עם ספסלים לישיבה בחוץ, בפועל זו מסעדה ויש ליד המסעדה 2 ספסלים שאפשר לשבת בהם עם אורחי המסעדה וממש לא כפי שנראה בתמונות.

- The parquet creaks everywhere, the bed is not comfortable at all - has a thin mattress and creaks with every little movement, the rooms are too small, there is not enough air, and if you also find a tourist who smells bad, it is a disaster. Theoretically, silence must be kept after 23:00, which is not taken into account. Tourists are also accepted after this time (self check in) and since the floor creaks everywhere and the thin doors, there is a lot of noise. I had a bed in a 4-person room and I shared the room with 2 people who arrived after 23:00 and in the other empty bed 2 boys(not one) came after 1:30 they made a lot of noise and one of them smelled terrible.
I got there at 10 pm, no one answered the door, opened or anything, called the phone on the wall and nobody answered, it was 0 degrees and I was freezing had to book a expensive hotel next to the hostel for the noght

I stayed at the hostel in August 2023, and I felt very much at home there. The whole atmosphere was very cozy. I felt safe, and well supported by the team. I also met a few friendly fellow travellers there.
I think it is nice location, nice building and cute interior, BUT I came after midnight and found my envelope with all information and code to get in to the room. Code didn't worked, I spend night trying to get in, eventually didin't manage to get to my room. Basicaly I paid for possibility to went to wc and to sit in lobey. In the morning really nice guy in reception said that the code which I got was wrong, that's all. Oh, and the I paid for sheets, but no bed. Really upset expeirience.

Nice place, pretty laidback, kitchen and common spaces are nice. Food is very expensive to buy near hostel, so plan ahead. They have good tips about saving money and seeing the city.
Castanea is pretty much at the center of the Old Town at a beautiful location, with more than enough amenities nearby. The staff are super friendly and the rooms are clean. Never once have I felt uncomfortable even staying at a 16 bed dorm. Met some great people there. To have had my first solo hostel experience in such a nice one was certainly a bit of luck. Thanks guys once more!
The location and staff can’t be beat. There is a reason why this hostel has won ‘Best Hostel in Sweden’ multiple years.

+ 整個青旅很可愛也很乾淨！ 共用衛浴的浴室和洗手間都很乾淨～浴室是用布簾做乾濕分離，裡面有小洗手台 服務人員很友善！ 房間整體都很乾淨，床好睡，房間空間夠無異味 不過床單枕頭套需要另外支付費用或自備，毛巾拖鞋等也需要自備 整體來說位置還不錯（拖行李箱會走的有點辛苦） 乾淨可愛整潔！

+ 観光に便利な場所にある。
- スウェーデンは、石畳。スーツケースの移動が大変。駅前や、街中の方がいいかも。
+ The location was amazing. The people at the desk very friendly and helpful. The communal space was also very nice, with a lovely little kitchen with everything you need.
- Only after booking it became clear that bed covers were not included in the price and you were not allowed to bring a sleeping bag. Maybe my own oversight and not that big of a deal in the end.

+ Excellent location and clean amenities. Fully equipped shared kitchen if you want to cook your own meals to save $$. Plenty of showers and hot water. Quiet in the late evenings making it easy to sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere.
- Room was quite small but nonetheless comfortable and warm.
