I don’t understand how this place has so many good reviews when: 1. The neighborhood is horribly sketchy 2. The rooms are so small you can’t even walk with two people at the same time 3. Bathrooms are just impossible in so many ways 4. Basic cleaning is not met 5. Price does not meet the quality 6. The team doesn’t even speak good Spanish in SPAIN

The staff are very good and friendly ready to help with anything, the location is good. Generally a noisy hostel with noisy people that stay there, after 12 there’s was a lot of noise in the rooms (people speaking, opening lights, forgetting to close the door etc). About cleaning idk if it even happened generally very bad experience. I don’t recommend

The only door that is secured is the front door, which pretty much could be tailgated into. Staff didn’t seem genuinely friendly- perhaps only 1 or 2 really are. One of them was pretty rude even, which left a sour taste to the overall experience.

Really nice staff and location but the facilities were pretty disappointing. It was a bit grimy and outdated, especially for the price. I got a private room and it was not as pictured. Good location but did not feel clean.

Had a great time in Barcelona but felt like I paid way too much ($122/night) to be in a pretty basic 4-person pod. The staff was lovely though! Ellis, Agustin, Ava, etc were great hosts - very welcoming and good people. But again, the price did not make sense. Maybe they raised the price bc they are rated #1 in Barcelona…but it’s not worth it imo. The activities were fun and I got to meet some cool people. Most people were in their early 20s and I’m 33 so it was a bit too young for me.

Cute little hostel, allowed us to check in past midnight too. But definitely overpriced.

Was not worth the insane price, many other hostels offer the better services at half the price. The staff were also very low effort during the daily/nightly activities. (Food preparation, maintaining an atmosphere, keeping the group together) Highly reccomend you save your money and get the same experience elsewhere for half the price

this hostel is ok, there are definitely better options around. they were doing construction and the facilities are not well equipped- rooms and bathrooms without towel hooks, and nowhere to place clothes when showering. the elevator had a terrible smell which was enough to not want to return. the staff though were kind and friendly.

The beds are wildly uncomfortable, it feels like you are sleeping directly on the wood bunk beds. I have a bad back (not terrible, but like I need to sleep on a bed not wood), so I couldn’t stay here unfortunately.

This hostel was a disappointment. There wasn’t much environment or nice lounge area, everything was dated. If you are 6ft and taller you will not sleep as the bunk beds are too short. Staff was very friendly which was the only positive. I would not stay here again

My first hostel experience at OneFam Paralelo set the bar SOOO high!! I was only here for 2 nights yet left with like 20 friends. Everyone was super kind and awesome. Of course, the staff really went above and beyond to curate this: specifically Enzo, Alice, and Gabrii. They were so fun and created an incredibly welcoming environment. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely loved my experience at OneFam Paralelo!! The staff are so friendly, fun & kind. They create a wonderful atmosphere that is relaxed & easy to meet people. I will miss all of the new friends I met 🫶🏻

This hostel was one of the best I have ever been in. The staff was super friendly and hospitable. They have activities every day and night so you can never get bored (walking tours, night games, bars and clubs).

Had a great time at onefam! The receptionists were awesome especially Gabi. Good social atmosphere and great location!

I stayed here last year, my first hostel stay and it was great! I came back here for the second time and it did not disappoint. Small, intimate, social and great fun! That’s all you need from your hostel and it delivers that!

So this was my very first time traveling alone and my first time staying in a hostel — and honestly, I had the best time ever. I met so many kind and amazing people along the way. A HUGE thank you to the staff — Alice, Enzo, Sasha (I love you guys!). They’re always there for you no matter what you need, super fun, always down to hang out, and they really know how to party. ☺️ I will 100% be coming back to Barcelona, and that’s all thanks to One Fam.

First hostel ever and id rate it a 1000000/10. Onefam Paralelo completely changed my view on hostels. Super social, welcoming, and easy to meet people. Huge shoutout to Alice & Saśa at reception,kind, down to earth, and always willing to help with anything. And of course shout out to ENZO—the life of the party, kept the energy high every day. All three made it feel like home and created a welcoming inclusive environment. Can’t wait to be back again.

The vibe here was incredible, especially for my birthday! I had such a fun time and met so many great people. A special thank you to Alice at reception, she was absolutely amazing and made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived and truly made my birthday feel more special I can’t recommend this place enough!
