Dreamy Nomads Hostel

A nice place to stay. Lovely staff and the rooftop is a great place to meet and chat with people. Well located for the bus and bike rental. It could do with a extra bathroom apart from the ones in the rooms but in general it ticks all the boxes.

Loved this hostel so much (my fav in 3 weeks in Taiwan). Volunteers (and owner) are super helpful and friendly. Rooms are cleaned regularly. Beds are comfy. Showers are fantastic! A little pricey compared to the rest of the country but you have to stay here when visiting the lake! They make up for it with bike and a couple restaurant discounts. Only thing is it doesn’t have a view of the lake. Overall - great place :)

Great stuff, really made everything possible to make my stay convenient. Even took care of my bus booking. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable. Only thing the rooms could really be bigger. 4 people hardly fit in the 4-bed-dorm.

Good place for staying while exploring Sun Moon Lake! Everything is clean and the workers are nice. The only point is that the 4 lady room is quite small for 4 people with their luggage.

Excellent location. Very friendly staff but the volunteers could be better educated on the area, details about recommended activities, transportation, etc. It's an older building and the whole room was stuffy after showers/hair drying (a dehumidifier, ventilation system, or a door mosquito net would help). Very simple breakfast of toast, jam, and coffee (but peanut butter and sugar had run out during my stay). Definitely do the boat ride but only when you have at least 3.5 hours for the tour.

A wonderful rooftop social/chill space with a view… the immediate view is a giant parking lot but look further and you can see beautiful mountains:) The staff were helpful and friendly too. Beds were big, rooms were clean, and the AC worked well. Free breakfast of toast & pb/ jam was offered. There is a bike rental shop right next to the hostel entrance. You can walk to town & Sun Moon Lake in ~5 minutes :) I’d recommend!

one of the only social hostels in Taiwan, nice staff, helps with the bike rental. It would have been better if the shower and toilet were separate so while someone showers another can use the toilet.

Very nice and very clean hostel. Staff is super friendly. Unfortunately there are only toilets in the dorms but this is no big deal. I enjoyed my stay.

I loved my stay here. It was a great location to relax or visit the lake and all its attractions. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. The common area was used a lot and i met some incredible people. I recommend this hostel to everone who wants to meet some new people and enjoy the Sun Moon Lake.

Just a fantastic hostel. Views from the rooftop are stunning especially at sunset, fantastically close to everything in town, and just an immaculate vibe. Can't recommend highly enough!

Such a lovely hostel right by Sun Moon Lake. The staff were so kind and helpful and the hostel had a really nice social chill vibe. Perfect for a couple nights to chill and explore around the lake.

Most welcoming and social hostel I have ever been in. The hostel common room is organized around one table which makes it very easy to socialize with other travelers. The staff also offer great advice about potential activities like doing a tour around the lake with a bike. The beds and dorms are spacious, comfortable and clean.

The staff were amazing! Location was perfect. Rooftop terrace was sublime. The place was clean as a whistle. Would come back again and again.

Wonderful little hostel in the perfect location to explore Sun Moon Lake. 5 mins from the main bus stop in Shuishe and one minute away from bike path around the lake. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. You can also get a great deal to rent a bike here. Rooms are cozy and clean and the rooftop space is really nice. Highly recommend!

I loved my stay at the Dreamy Nomads Hostel. Although the shower, toilet, and sink are all in one room and it's quite small, the women's only room was very clean and private. Every staff member was kind and gave many recommendations for biking, sightseeing, and food.

我很驚訝日月潭有背包客棧，也沒有後悔住進這一間；首先經營者與小幫手們都非常友善與專業，他們會盡力滿足你的需要；再來是房間的上下舖，非常寬敞，高度也夠，不用擔心撞到頭，梯子示好爬的；缺點是衛浴太少間，經常要等待一段時間，尿急的人，旅館外面就是停車場，可以先用那邊的公共廁所，沒有其他不滿意的地方了！ 天臺是接待區，也是交誼與早餐的空間，...

I had the most lovely time at Dreamy Nomads Hostel. It is a very welcoming place with a great atmosphere and in a gorgeous location. I would definitely come back! :)
