FORMAL COMPLIANT MADE TO Newry & Mourne District Council. SANCTUARY policy in a hostel environment is not only essential but you are BREACHING the law by not following it.

** HAZARD FROM A HEALTH, SAFETY AND FIRE POINT OF VIEW WITH NO STAFF MEMBER ON THE PREMISES OR AVAILABLE MOST OF THE TIME, DAY OR NIGHT ** ** Beware they only give one key per room of 6 people. ** Locked outside on the street for 2 hours from 12:00 to 2:00am. Plenty of other budget accommodation options available in Newcastle. The hotels are generally only £10 more - well worth it!

A bit of a disappointing way to end my otherwise wonderful trip around in Northern Ireland. The host Steph was not always super responsive and more importantly no one was available at the reception when I arrived. Check-in was between 5-8 pm but when I asked to check-in at 7:30 pm, Steph would not be available because of a private a appointment. This is not the way to run a hostel, I think. This is the hospitality industry after all.

nice hostel - looks very nice, good beds, nicely decorated. Bathroom is clean. Nothing is closed with a key or anything, no lockers in the room. Payment only by card, which is really annoying nowadays, especially when the ATMs in the village are all out of service...

The hostel is in a great location. It is close to town which has a great range of bars/pubs & restaurants. The hostel is also across the road from the beach which is lovely for walking along the sea front. There is very limited seating for dinner if you are going in a large group although there is a well equipped kitchen. The lounge area is also small but comfortable.

Я подорожувала сама, тому була можливість зайняти жіночу кімнату в хостелі, була лише я сама і власники, тому що це був тихий сезон. Комфортний душ та туалет, є кухня де є весь посуд і можливість приготувати їжу. Розташування в центрі, що є зручним для прогулянок.
