Zostel Kasol (Katagla)

+ Zostel cancelled our online booking.

+ I liked the dormitory and the library.

- The receptionist was very rude and didn't know how to treat guests with hospitality. I got a call from him on the day of the check out, he made one day extra booking rest everything was superb.

+ Nothing worst property to stay

- Staff was very aggressive and misbehaving I will suggest to tourists that not to stay in zostel kasol

+ Nothing at all except the location

- There were so many issues. The staff kept us waiting and let their aquaintance get an earlt check in

+ Location, not as expected, not that close to main Kasol. But location was fine. Cafe open to all so higher chances of interacting with family likeminded people. Dessert was good and room layout was nice, with a balcony.

- Food, barring some desserts, was not upto the mark. Would rather go out to other cafes. Gentleman at the front desk acts “threatening” At times, with issues like check out and check in, complains. Some arrogance in him. Shower not working, EXTREMELY bad stench from the bathroom, complines multiple times but the only “solution” the front desk had, was a room freshener spray. Room not checked properly prior to check in.

+ 3rd floor

- there is no hospitality in the cafe, they try to put you by their convenience.

- staff was very rude. geysar was also not working. approach to property is not good. Zip line does not work in early morning to transfer the luggage to the parking which is 500 m aways from the property and the you have to climb up the hill to reach the parking with your luggage.

+ Beds were comfy

- Nothing was allowed inside the property atleast if we are taking a full dorm you should allow smoking

- Overpriced cafeteria .. no room service .. no in house kitchen.. no activities for engagement.

+ I recently stayed at Zostel Katagla, and it was honestly such a beautiful experience. The property is located near the serene Parvati River, which makes the whole stay feel peaceful and refreshing. One of the best things about the location is that all the popular cafés are within walking distance, so you can easily explore without worrying about transport. The overall vibe of the hostel was amazing, very social, lively, and perfect for meeting new people. The Zostel Café live music event added so much charm to the experience. The atmosphere during the event was vibrant and super enjoyable. It really gave that classic Kasol backpacker feel. Overall, it was a memorable stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kasol and looking for a chill yet happening place to stay.

- The only downside I experienced was regarding the room heater. I had requested it in the afternoon, but received it only late in the evening. Since the full amount is charged for the heater, it would have been better to have access to it for the entire day.

- The approach to the hotel is very inaccessible. Either you carry your own luggage or pay a porter to deliver your luggage to the hotel.
