Great value for money, great location in the middle of a very nice and large park, 30 min enjoyable walk into centre and there are very accessible and easy to use trams too if you'd rather do that. Only issues were the shower water getting everywhere and the lockers underneath the beds being pretty broken, as you could get into it regardless of having a lock on. Recommend for short stays
Best hostel ever! It felt like a home to me. This was my second time staying here, and I will definitely come again! The location is perfect, with beautiful park right nearby. I also like that the hostel is not right in the city centre, so it’s peaceful and there isn’t too much noise or tourism around. At the same time, there’s a tram stop close by, so you can easily get anywhere in the city quickly. Overall, it has everything you need from a hostel!

The socket by the bed was broken. As I was able to charge my phone using a power bank, it wasn’t a problem with the cable or the phone itself. I asked the hotel reception to sort it out, but they replied that there was nothing they could do and that there was nothing to be done about it. I felt they could have moved me to another room or provided a charging point somewhere, but in the end, I was unable to charge my phone at the hotel. My room key stopped working twice.
I had a very disappointing experience. The location is quite far from the main areas, making it inconvenient to get around. My bed didn’t have a curtain, which affected my privacy, and when I asked for help, the staff was rude and unwilling to assist. The hostel felt disorganized and not very welcoming overall. Considering the price, I expected much better. I wouldn’t stay here again.
We went there for kingsday and had a private 6 bed dorm. Our sink didn’t drain, so it was almost unusable

Gutes Hostel, in guter Lage! Nettes Personal. Nicht so sauberes Wc in dem sechser Frauen Zimmer. Aber alles in allem trotzdem empfehlenswert!
Muy bien ubicado, El desayuno es muy bueno, los alrededores son hermosos. Las instalaciones muy bien aprovechadas, las camas muy cómodas.
I knew the location was far outside of the city center, I thought the park like setting would be a nice but it’s not that great. I had a pod & the bar noise keeps the pod area very loud - until about 4am with music. You have to share the toilets with bar customers- they get very dirty. Imagine having to wash up in a bar bathroom everyday. The pod creaked every time the person above moved. So no sleep, dirty, disappointing location, few amenities. Staff say they’ll fix things but they don’...
Very nice place. Friendly staff and easy to navigate. Only problem is when we arrived, there was sick all over the sink and they didn’t get someone in to clear it up until the following morning! Other than that, lovely stay and would recommend
I would highly recommend staying here and I will be again when I come back to Amsterdam. The facilities were great, we enjoyed some amazing fresh mint tea each night, being able to rent bikes all day was amazing and the location was superb. Could not have been a better place to stay.
It was a good hostel. I did not like the triple bunk bed
Staff was awesome, location is nice and the pods were nice! However the bathrooms were disgusting - specifically the showers. The showers overflow after 30 seconds of running the water, every single shower. The point of shower shoes didn’t even matter because the water goes up to your ankles in each one.

Had a wonderful stay in every way, the place is very cool with great vibes. The only issue is the location a bit far from city central if walking.
The hostel was quite far away from the main area of Amsterdam (~40min walk) so if you’re trying to walk everywhere to save money on transport this may not be the best option. The pods are secure, however the mattress is very thin and you can feel the plastic bottom of the pod easily through it. The pods are plastic so they weren’t very soundproof and all noise sounded like it was in your pod. However, the hostel itself is very secure and does feel safe for those travelling alone
Facility was not good. I have to rent tower for €7. For locker room i have to BUY padlock for €8. This is outrageous.
Nice hostel in a beautiful park, staff are friendly and they have a café and bar that also serve food. Only thing we missed was a kitchen, we couldn’t cook there at all and as the common room was reserved for private events two out of the three nights we were there, we didn’t really have an option to just sit and bring our own drinks and food. Other than that, great place to stay
