Basic hostel, nice owner, small rooms without lockers, good for one night

This property mentions that it isn’t fancy, and yet they still undersold it. Not good at all.

Our first from the bottom of all the places we stayed around Croatia. Nothing like the pictures. Bed bugs. Not even a mirror or a chair or hangers in the room. With the kitchen bin right infront the bedroom door, literally half a foot away when opening, blocking the entrance. Having to pay for old rough towels.

Great hostel would recommend just changing the beds, you can feel the springs on your back and it hurts in the other morning. Too expensive for what you’re having.

Non hanno locker; la pulizia è sicura mente migliorabile; non ci sono prese comode per i vari letti, bisogna lasciare il telefono distante e per terra. Zero servizi. Prezzo alto per quello che offre. Però posizione ottima.

Pretty much is as stated in the description not 5 Starts but also not awful. Bed, bathroom, kitchen and showers. It’s clean (ish) and the air con works. No map on arrival unfortunately and you may need to wait outside for about 5-10 minutes for the owner if you arrive after 21:00. About 15-20 minute walk from the train station if carrying luggage. Didn’t have the socket next to my bed as the air con was plugged into it but a nice bloke had an extension lead so too much of an issue. ...

Warning bed bugs!! Staff are great, but myself and at least one other got bed bugs while staying there the weekend of September 10th! Covered in bites and even killed a few crawling on our beds. Be aware.

Old mattress thrown on unstable bunk bed. You can clearly see that the owner tried to put as much beds as possible in the room in order to maximize the profit. The room itself is old and could us a renovation. Even though we paid for two bed we only got on key. No place to store our bags

Manuela was very kind and the location was ok. you don't have lockers, but you have two keys : one for the main door and one for your shared room. It was a simple place. No real reception. A bit expensive for what it is.

I liked it, great stay.

Have no idea why more people weren’t staying here. Paul was so nice to deal with and everything went so smooth. The location is incredible and the €10 for clean clothes returned within the day was so good. Had such a nice stay here, would come back 100% next time. Thankyou Paul and Manuela!

La habitacion estava bien, limpia, y la cocina tenia muchos utensilios. Estaria bien poder abrir y ventilar la habitacion y tener algun casillero para dejar las maletas. Pero en general bien! Me dejaron entrar un poco antes cosa que agradeci!

Hostel Manuela was great as I had to find a place to stay late into the night. The dorms were clean and comfortable, and the hosts were helpful and flexible. The location is also great because it is central to everything, but on a quiet street.

This was a lovely place to stay with my six year old, as the owners are really nice and very family orientated. We paid for a dorm, but they gave us our own room. We were able to prepare our own food in the kitchen area. The location was brilliant.

Smaller property but felt spacious. Not super social but it was perfect for me to recharge a bit and cook up some meals after finishing a week on a sail

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The hosts were wonderful – they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, even waiting up until 11pm to check me in after my late flight. The atmosphere is really relaxed and chilled. While there aren’t individual lockers, the front door locks automatically, so only guests with a key can access the building, which felt secure. The location couldn’t be better – close to everything and really convenient.

The host was incredibly lovely, kind and helpful - we felt so welcome. We had a kitchen with fridge, the laundry service was really good and it's located close to the city center. Would definitely recommend and go there again.

Super logement ! L’hôte nous a très bien accueilli malgré une attente très tardive de notre part. Ce logement est très bien équipé en douches et matelas je recommande fortement 👍

Hostel Manuela is the best hostel we have been to!! The hosts Paul & Manuela are so kind and have great recommendations. The hostel is clean and has really good airconditioning 🙏. The location is great, a lot of the clubs, beaches and tourist attractions are in walking distance.

The stay at Hostel Manuela was really nice and felt secure at all times. Would recommend for solo travellers especially for those who want a more quiet time to relax from the partying. If not I would recommend a more sociable hostel as this one isn’t too big therefore limited socials.

Comfortable beds and pillows! Perfect if you just need to shower and sleep!! (no luggage storage)

BEST hostel I've ever been to ! The bed are the comfiest I ever had in a hostel, the living room is really good for socializing, like planning stuff during the day with the other travelers and late night talk, the bathroom has a lot of space which feels super relaxing and you are next to everything ! Also, Manuela and Pal are the sweetest ever ! I'll always remember their kindness. They are truly AMAZING people and they have been so helpful with everything. Just go there, you won't regret.

I have never seen warmer, sweeter, more helpful hostel owners than Manuela and Pal in my whole travel experience, and I would normally not write a review but I MUST share this. The rooms are CLEAN and i slept like a baby. The common area was so fun to socialize in and they are really helpful when checking in and out as well. You can see that they are in this business because they enjoy it so much and treat their guests in the kindest way possible. I will come back to split just for them honestly

This hostel was amazing. Everything was clean and the owners were very accommodating and kind. My suitcase was extremely heavy and he carried it up the stairs and made sure he knew my checkout time to carry it back down again. Very nice people and atmosphere. Would recommend.

Great staff and good location. There are no activities hosted by the hostel but it is small enough for you to get to know everyone living there anyway

This was a last minute booking for us and we were not disappointed. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfy and had good aircon. Our laundry was done super speedily and just got it back on our beds. Even if people forgot to lock your room, it was ok as the front door automatically locked. Just wish there were cages under the beds for bags for a bit more security and a bigger fridge.
