The Hosteller Bangalore, Brigade Road

The only good thing about the property is its close proyimity to MG Road. The AC was not working in the room, the elevator was non operational at check out. Severe security issue in the entire building, heard complaints of several thefts from the checkin desk.

I chose this hostel as it's central and for that it was good but I didn't stay the length of my booking. There was a banana peel on the light above my bed. I don't think the bathrooms really get cleaned. People loud in dorms! I had to check in via an app so interaction was very limited, very impersonal. No food options, which is fine as you are central so there are shops to get what you need but no kitchen to find a spoon. People come for work and they were very friendly. Rooftop was nice.

Location is great, but there is no vibe or other travellers to meet as there are no real social spaces. The rooftop seems very under-used. The rooms are nice, but in general old and not well maintained

Good. I paid 1071 rupees. But i feel it's worth of 700 rupees. Hope I will get some discount coupons to redeem from the same.

There was repair work going on daily and we were waiting for 3 hrs for the water supply to resume.

Great location near Church Street. I booked a private room. Sadly, the room had a strong smell of (I imagine) anti-insect substance and lots of insects. The room did not seem well-maintained. The electrical switches were not user-friendly. The Wi-Fi wasn't reliable. But I did like the fact that the room was stocked with an electrical kettle, sachets of tea, coffee, sugar, milk powder and water. Also, the staff followed through on my requests to clean the room and perform anti-insect treatment.

As someone in the reviews mentioned, this is a hotel with dorms. Good value for the private rooms, I was surprised by the amenities provided. Hostel seemed old or well worn, can do with a bit more deep clean, especially bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Lack of vibe or atmosphere, terrace seemed underused. Not my first hosteller chain, but a decent one. Great location, food places nearby. Good dosa and coffee right next door :)

It’s in a great location, plenty of things to walk to on Brigade road. Also not far from a mall and a metro station. The room appeared dirty, as the walls could use a fresh painting. Otherwise, it was a good place to rest and shower.

Stayed at The Hosteller Bangalore, Brigade Road recently and had a really good experience. The location is perfect if you want to explore Church Street, MG Road, and the best cafés around Bangalore. The hostel has a great social vibe, clean dorms, comfortable beds, and a nice rooftop common area to chill or work from. The staff was friendly and always helpful throughout the stay. Definitely a solid choice for solo travellers and backpackers looking for a stay in the heart of the city.

Good hostel, toilet stinks though but was clean. Beds clean and nice, only issue is no key fob for the room you can literally just walk in, but i felt safe in Bangalore and there is a security guard at night.

Very clean and good infrastructure. Nice place to stay and meet fellow travellers. Highly recommended.

Definitely the best The Hosteller I’ve stayed in whilst travelling India! They actually have a luggage storage which they lock, the rooms are spotless and my eight bed dorm had two very modern bathrooms! Nice rooftop area, but not much of an atmosphere; a lot of people are there for work purposes not travel. Staff were always friendly but sometimes weren’t helpful but they were still good. Good location near restaurants and activities too - would thoroughly recommend!

My stay at this hostel in Bangalore was absolutely wonderful. The location is fantastic — close to cafés, coworking spaces, and public transport, which made exploring the city super easy. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with recommendations for local food spots and nightlife. Highly recommended for solo travelers, backpackers, or anyone looking for a social yet comfortable stay in Bangalore!

Great stay! Has everything you need and daily activities

Great location near MG road. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Toilets stank even after a clean. The WiFi connection is very inconsistent / poor. The hostel restaurant is not great value. The staff are also weirdly pushy about leaving positive Google reviews, at one point taking my phone out of my hand to give themselves a five star review. A bit inappropriate...

We were completely pleased with this Hostel. It has a good location; nice beds and mattresses, plenty of hot water with a full shower in the bathroom in each room; a nice library room on the 7th floor, a nice rooftop terrace, Plenty of bottled water refill stations on each floor; in-room adjustable excellent A/C; very clean; and a beneficial, friendly staff; bag storage for free before check-in; and after we checked out. The beds have privacy curtains. We stayed 10 days plus and had no problem

Die Zimmertüren der Mehrbettzimmer konnten nicht geschlossen werden. Das WLAN ging manchmal nicht. Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit was die Gepäckaufbewahrung vor und nach dem Aufenthalt angeht. Lage ist auch top. Es wird ein täglich wechselndes Programm angeboten (Events im Hostel, Ausflüge in die Stadt, Filmabende, etc.). Der Aufenthaltsraum auf dem Dach ist sehr cool! In den Mehrbettzimmern kann man sein Bett für mehr Privatsphäre mit einem Vorhang abdecken. Die Bäder sind schö...
