Overall beautiful place. Kitchen has disconnected indoor/outdoor design that made it hard to cook. Room also had a bit of a smell.
I loved my stay at Glencoe Outdoor Hostel! The staff were absolutely incredible and willing to help with any enquires about the local area and things to do. The common room had an amazing cozy vibe and it was perfect to come back to after a long day of hiking in the area. The showers were spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this hostel, it was fantastic and I would come back anyday!

Great vibes, fun energy, comfortable bunks, great conversations with other travelers and the staff is friendly. Glencoe is also a really gorgeous, quaint town so I'm glad I took a little detour from the West Highland Way trek to visit it. Check out the art store behind the hostel - the artist Karen sells her gorgeous work and is such a lovely person to interact with.
lovely hostel. really friendly and helpful staff who reccommended places to eat and places to visit. theres a little pool next to the river out the back and this was a highlight for me. rooms are pretty dates and not many sockets although there are extension cables in the rooms. bathrooms were nice and clean
Thanks for a nice stay! Sam very helpful! The outdoor kitchen and the chimney in the lounge were great :-) More room for stuff in rooms and less noisy doors (rooms) would make it perfect.
We absolutely loved the building. It had loads of character and history. Lots of nice bits of old furniture made it feel even more characterful. We had a private twin room (which turned out to be bunk beds). It was cosy but very small, maybe a tad over priced for what it was. We were next to a bathroom which was quite noisy during the morning shower rush. The open fire in the lounge was wonderful. The guests and staff generally kept themselves to themselves, so it didn’t feel particularly soci...
Lovely staff and guests, good location and awesome beds. the free food shelf is great. The small living room is very nice. Kitchen very convenient, could be cosier (more decoration?) A great stay, many thanks

Super auberge Propre Personnel sympa Petit déjeuner payant à composer, excellent porridge. Très bel établissement, jardin et rivière. Location kayak possibles. Seul point négatif mais ne dépendant pas de l’aiuberge en elle même: attention si vous n’avez pas de voiture de location car le départ de certaines rando peut être à 2h à pieds comme The three sisters. J’ai fait du stop (8 min en voiture) mais soyez au courant.
Super hostel Clean staff nice nice small lunch pay to compose, excellent porridge. Very nice establishment, garden and river. kayak rentals possible. only negative point but not dependent on the hostel itself: be careful if you do not have a rental car because the departure from some rando can be 2h on foot like The three sisters. I made the stop (8 min by car) but be aware.
its an outstanding place with an outstanding location. The Beds are a bit small for tall People and not very comfortable. Overall it was a great experience. Loved my Stay and will stay again
I had a great experience at the Glencoe Outdoor Centre Hostel. The space is comfortable, clean, and has everything you need (an outdoor kitchen, laundry services, a cozy room with a warm fire, etc.). Would definitely recommend this place to others traveling through and would stay again if I find myself back in the area (which I hope to).

Dusche waren etwas uncomfortable. Hostel-Atmosphäre und Personal waren aber extrem angenehm.

This hostel is one of the best ones I’ve ever stayed at, and probably the most charming one. It’s close to the Glencoe village, has all kinds of facilities (their drying room should be a must in the Highlands!) the staff is super kind and helpful and the whole place has a nineties-retro vibe while everything works well. Absolutely fabulous overall, I can’t wait to be back!

Had a fantastic stay at this hostel! Felt welcomed by the warm and friendly staff who offered great suggestions for exploring the area. The entire place was impeccably clean with lots of facilities, and the rooms were comfortable. The cozy lounge area with a fireplace was perfect for relaxing after a day of hikes. The atmosphere was inviting and made it easy to connect with other travelers. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay.
Great place to stay, the building is full of character, a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, the staff are really helpful and the place is spotless. It's a shame it's not available for more months in the year
