- Het eten , we hebben allebei een voedselvergiftiging gehad. We hadden allebei 38,3 koorts / overgeven / misselijk.
+ The cabins are very well done and the scenery is nice.
- No one else there. Staff trying to get rip you off.
+ The location is cool - 20 minutes from the center of Khao Sok. The place itself is very nice in terms of atmosphere, close to nature, and beautiful. At night you can see many stars and living creatures.
- The rooms we booked (the more expensive ones) were listed as having free Wi-Fi. When we got there it turned out not to be, which was a bummer. The breakfast was stingy and not tasty. The atmosphere from the staff was unpleasant, and it felt like they were doing us a favor by even talking to us. The room itself was dirty, the bed was terrible! Hard as wood. And on the second night there was moisture on the mattress.
2 friends and I stayed here for 2 nights. We were told prior about a tour which upon arrival didnt even exist. No washing products were included. It was generally very expensive. The tours were not great. The atv tour was great, bamboo rafting and night safari were extremely underwhelming. The hostel is in the middle of no where with no shops around so you have to rely on the hostel for things such as beer and food, but beer is not served after 10.30. The beds are awful too.
Only stay here if you have your own vehicle. There is no grab, bolt or taxi service and the nearest shop is 14km away. The hotel will drop you off to the park but only at particular times which they are very rigid about. Otherwise it will be a 500baht charge to drive you each way. Transportation felt like a tourist scam. Pretty location and views but the inability to do anything without feeling extorted made for a poor experience.
+ Our stay at The Camper Lodge Khao Sok was unfortunately not great. While the facilities were decent and the cleanliness was acceptable, the overall experience was negatively impacted by the unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. We did not feel particularly welcome, and there was a noticeable lack of hospitality. The location itself is nice, but the atmosphere was not inviting. Considering the service, we do not feel that this place offers good value for money. Would not recommend.

+ Das Essen im Resturant war etwas teuer, aber sehr gut. Das Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Es gab 2 x täglich einen Shuttle zum Dorf und wieder zurück.
- Die Zimmer werden nicht gereinigt, die Mülltonne nicht geleert und die Handtücher nicht gewechselt. Man wohnt in einem Seecontainer, der nicht isoliert ist. Entsprechend ist das Raumklima schlecht. Der Durchlauferhitzer hat nicht funktioniert, kein Wlan im Zimmer sondern nur im Restaurant, und dort hat es auch nicht immer funktioniert, Ungeziefer Kakerlacken) im Bad, sehr schmales Bett, Bettwäsche hatte Stockflecken, die angebotenen Touren sind überteuert. Das Resort ist viel weiter weg vom Dorf als in Booking.com angegeben (ca. 22km entfernt), bei Regen prasseln die Regentropfen aufs Dach und man kann nicht schlafen. Deshlb können wir die Camper Lodge leider nicht empfehlen.

- אין אינטרנט במרחב החדרים!!! יש אינטרנט רק במרחב המסעדה. וזה חבל מאוד.
+ Personel niesamowicie pomocny i życzliwy. Lokalizacja hotelu wymaga dojazdu do większości atrakcji. Taki dojazd załatwia recepcja hotelu. Hotel posiada również własny autobus który kursuje do miasta i spowrotem.
- Niestety obcowanie z mrówkami w pokoju było uciążliwe.

Great place, great staff, great view
One of the best hostel experiences I have had. A beautiful location with easy access to national park tours. It felt very peaceful and made for a great few days of rest. I was upgraded to a private room when I arrived. The staff were so attentive throughout, all of them incredibly friendly and constantly checking on me. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The staff helped me with a last minute transfer to the airport for which I was very grateful. I would recommend this hostel to anyone.

Awesome hostel off the beaten path with friendly staff and great service. We stayed for 3 days and agreed it was our favorite hostel we’ve stayed at. It’s about 25 minutes from khao sok village so be prepared to travel, but they also provide free shuttles 2x a day.
+ Echt heel vriendelijke mensen, ze deden er alles aan om Ons eerder in de kamer te laten. Je kunt ook echt hele leuke activiteiten doen zoals 2 day tour en olifanten wassen. Kamer is perfect! De cliff is ook echt heel cool en leuk om de film gold te kijken als je hier bent ( is hier opgenomen)

Geweldige plek, prachtige omgeving. Wees er wel op voorbereid dat het wat verder weg is van het centrum en het nationaal park.
+ Die große Terasse hat nen tollen Ausblick, Frühstück, essen und Getränkeangebot ist sehr gut. gleich nebenan kann man bamboo Floß fahren, touren und Taxis organisiert die Rezeption . Es gibt genügend Parkplätze .
- Liebevoll gestaltetes tiny house, was leider nicht mehr instand gehalten wurde
Its a really beautiful site but its extremely far from the town. But still amazing views. Tho if you get the dorms the showers and bathrooms are outside.
One of my best hostel in Thailand! You are staying in a peaceful place at the bottom of a mountain. You really have to stay here !!

+ Es hat einfach ALLES gepasst. Vom Check In bis zum Check Out bestens betreut mit sehr leckerem Essen und ausreichendem Frühstücksbuffet. Ich werde definitiv bei jeder Thailand Reise einen Stopp hier einlegen.
- Das Badezimmer könnte besser belüftet sein, dennoch höhere Sauberkeit als in Thailand üblich.
Super cool hostel. You’re sleeping in shipping containers. Amazing mountainous backdrop. Really is like something out of a movie. It is a 25 min drive outside of the main town so if you want to go there they offer a shuttle once in the morning and once in the evening. We rode the shuttle into town and then rented mopeds. You can book national park at the desk. Really is a great place to unwind and connect with nature or work if you’re a digital nomad. Not that I am lol.
this was absolutely amazing, for people that don't want to stay in the super touristy town and wanna wake up with an amazing view this is 100% recommended
really liked it there!! great view, mountains and nature all around you!! the staff was very nice and cute💖 its not that closeby to the main “town” but I actually think thats a good thing (they have free shuttles). The only thing: the beds are very hard and uncomfortable but its bearable
Incredible stay! Such a treat to stay in the jungle on this cool camp ground- you’re next to the river and engulfed by the mountains. Staff are friendly, nice big dining area to hangout. Free shuttle a couple times a day to and from the hostel. Can also book tours directly with the hostel so you don’t have to worry about pick up and drop off. Highly recommend!
This is amazing! It is so pretty to see the stars at night. The food there is also good. It’s not near anything. You will wake up with monkey sounds. I would recommend to everyone
+ El personal, son gente muy agradable y simpatica. La ubicación es impresionante, toda la zona es una pasada. La hamaca para tumbarse y ver el paisaje. Las estrellas por la noche, el ruido de la naturaleza. El desayuno muy rico y las vistas impresionantes mientras comes, de momento es el alojamiento que mas me ha gustado de los q he estado en tailandia.
- Que está un poco alejado de todo, aunque es parte de su encanto, para 2 o 3 noches me parece perfecto, además si contratas tours te llevan y te traen. Que no haya agua caliente, para 2 noches perfecto, pero para mas tiempo no lo veo.

Amazing stay. Really nice people who work there, beautiful location and a very good social area. It is a little bit of a drive away from the Khao Sok national park entrance, but they are brilliant in facilitating lifts over there (free shuttles there and back twice a day and the option to pay for a taxi there at any time). Would absolutely stay again if I get the chance to come back!
