The hostel was in a central location in Ercolano making it easy to visit the local interest spots. For the most part that the guests were super considerate of the other people’s space. The terrace is really what makes this hostel great, as it overlooks the ocean. I’d love to see added security and cleanliness in the showers, while they did have segregated showers, the women’s is a folding plastic door and I did have a man come in while I was showering and the showers felt dirty. Such a lovely hostel. It’s not far from Napoli, so you can actually stay here and make day trips into the city. Shout out to Simon, the hostel manager, who makes the place feel like a home. The hostel is quiet at night but has a good social vibe during the day. Great, full-service kitchen. Also, very close to the beach, where you can watch the sunset, and a short walk from the Ercolano ruins. Had a wonderful time here.

Very close ercolano Scavi not too much far from Pompei strategic position from Napoli that you can reach by train circumvesuviana or Trenitalia from station of Portici . Faites attention, je me suis rendu à l'hostel. Mon arrivée était en soirée et personne ne m'a ouvert malgré que j'ai cogné à la porte et appelé à l'intercom à plusieurs reprises. En plus, ils m'ont chargé le plein prix et m'obstine comme quoi je suis jamais allé. Grosse arnaque!

Grear Hostel in Ercolano nice staff good value!

The owner/ manager of the property was extremely rude and unprofessional. The hostel it self was dirty, there was mold in the shower and the fridge. The shower heads were old and broken. Overall, poor hospitality experience. If you are planning to visit Naples, it is about 30-45 mins by walk+train. The train is usually late and the last train to Elcolano from Napoli is 9:30ish. Would not recommend.

The hostel is lovely but was abandoned and need to be clean. It was okay to sleep but not a social life here.

I really enjoyed my stay at H Hostel! Would recommend to anyone. Good terrace to meet people and the owner even played foosball with us (he’s really good). Large toilets/ showers and overall really clean.

really nice place. run by a very friendly elderly italian couple. the husband is really friendly, and loves to have a chat. however, he only speaks italian, so there was a lot of guess work and hand gesturing. really fun night

Check in process was a bit strange as you had to pay yourself using the POS machine. It’s a bit hard to find as well. Good kitchen, bedrooms, and common areas that are all nice and clean. In the morning even before 10 staff are in the room cleaning. They even tap you to wake you up which I found a bit odd!

Don't let yourself annoy by few things that might not be perfect, cause this place is just magical. Building from the 18th century with a big patio, beaches at 10 minutes, small shops with cheap and excellent products all around, cheap pizzerias, no tourists, no crowd in Ercolano that seems protected from nowaday stress and individualism. Most of the travelers I met in the hostel were friendly and ready to do things together. The owners and the receptionnist are cool and helpful. Great memories!

i had trouble finding the place as there are no signs. once inside, it was nice and tidy. has a terrace which I regret not being able to enjoy. I recommend it.

Great location for visiting Herculaneum, Mt. Vesuvius and Pompeii. Kitchen is small but functional and always clean. I had a lamp and somewhere to charge my phone but not everyone in my room was so lucky. Very little staff presence
