The dorm and common area is really clean and comfortable. The staff are all really welcoming and friendly, Jennifer made us feel very welcome and kept us entertained with her stories every night.

I have stayed in over 200 hostels during my travels and this is easily the nicest spot I have ever stayed! The site has an epic view of the lake and a wonderful staff catering to every need. They have a dorm and hostel prices but it felt like I was in a high-end resort. Wonderful breakfast and exactly what I needed after months in the road. Dorm on the Nile / Home on the Nile is an amazing new Backpackers, right next to the Nile with multiple spots to relax and meet other people. Everything is quite new, with comfortable beds and big bathrooms with good water pressure and hot water. Stunning place, lovely host and staff. Beautiful location, so easy to get in and out of town but a really quiet and peaceful place on the river.
