Staff was not helpful. The room was damp smelt of mold and there seemed to be these mini bugs on the wall- could not make out if it was bed bugs or not, the beds were fine didn’t find anything there but the guy working there said they were baby spiders. There was never toilet paper in the bathroom and the doors were always open/window to room can’t lock either. The guy wouldn’t give us the key either- couldn’t speak good English/didn’t want to/was dismissive. Def stay somewhere else fo...

It smelled so badly of mould we had to leave and find another hotel.

Wir hatten für eine Nacht ein Zimmer dort gebucht und konnten dort leider nicht bleiben und mussten uns ein anderes Hotel am selben Abend noch suche . Uns wurden zwei Zimmer angeboten und beide hatten sowohl im Badezimmer als auch im Schlafzimmer Schimmel an den Wänden. Man konnte es sehen und auch riechen. Würde leider niemandem empfehlen hier zu buchen. :-( Trotzdem war die Dame an der Rezeption sehr nett und hat uns auch das Geld erstattet.

No running water or wifi for the majority of my stay. Mould in bedroom and bathroom. Very basic.

I wouldn’t stay here again. Smells like mold immediately when you walk in. Also don’t count on their secure luggage storage for Machu Picchu as they don’t lock the door to the room even after I asked about it.

when i got to the hostel i was told that they had my reservation but were full. i was told to cancel my current reservation and they would take me to near by hostel with rooms. turns out the new hostel room price was double what i was paying for in my original booking. told reception i couldnt cancel, they took my payment and then walked me over to new hostel. they offered towels and breakfast. very close to bus and train station

I was very disappointed in the room i got. It was one on the ground floor, no private bathroom. It was right next to the kitchen, also very noisy. It smelled really bad, was humid, didn’t look like anything on the pictures. Please do not offer this room to guest, especially not for the same price as the rest of the rooms - which looked as described. I was staying only one night for couple of hours. Overall I believe the services and the staff are very nice, I was just unlucky with the room.

Hundreds of booklice all over the room which means there’s mold that got 3/4 of us sick. Never any toilet paper in the bathroom. Staff was nice besides one who was constantly angry when we would ask for spray and wipes to get the bugs away, or toilet paper. Wouldn’t stay here more than a night.

I had in general a great experience, staff and location were perfect!

- staff were friendly and helpful - breakfast was delicious and available early - main downside was our room smelled badly of damp, and the bathroom smelled terrible (like a blocked drain) and was mouldy with a vent to mouldy insulation - hot water didn’t work on one day - room didn’t feel that secure as the window opened to the hallway, and the interior door handle could be reached through it

The Guest house was well located, clean and the staff were very helpful and kind. The place is quite simple but very welcoming. Breakfast is included and it was really good. They also have a common area you can keep your luggage and hang before check in and after check out.

A decent place to stay for a night in Aguas Calientes. Good location and comfortable beds but it is very basic. Breakfast starts at 5:30 which is ideal for early starts (can't comment on the standard because I was in a rush and couldn't eat). The room I was in smelt a bit damp but that also could just have been the people who had just finished hikes. Overall worth the money.

Great hostel in Aquas Calientes! The price was fair, the room clean, the amenities sufficient and the breakfast delicious. The service, however, was especially good. After I lost my headphones in the hostel, the staff not only found them, but also went above and beyond to help me get the headphones to Lima before my homebound flight left from there.

Absolutely fantastic spot! Free breakfast was super yummy, clean rooms, and very attentive staff. Really appreciated the effort they put in to make us as comfy as possible. Unbeatable for such an affordable price — highly recommend especially for budget travelers!

It was a pretty good place. I’m sure the majority of people just stay here to go to Machu Picchu, so I wouldn’t expect much. I felt safe here, everything was clean, & the staff was nice. Only negative is that there were no lockers to put your belongings, just one big room that everyone puts their stuff in. Other than that, the stay was good!

Constant flow through of travelers. Good location. Helpful staff. No lockers. Good hot water and water pressure. Breakfast is basic but plentiful

Good value for the price. I had a private room with own bathroom. Unfortunately the room didn't have a window so it was a bit dark. But overall clean and in a good location

It's an okay place ,location isn't great and the WiFi doesn't work in the rooms, there is never toilet paper in the bathroom and it's pricey, I wouldn't recommend it
