Harbour Hub Hostel

The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. Unfortunately we booked at the same time as the AC/DC concert and price was over 230 euros for 2 nights only. Simple single room, no window with shared bathroom. Shared bathrooms are very dated/old and moldy. We won't be staying again even if they charge normally 25 euros/30 euros a night. The fact that the price went up by so much just because of an event was disappointing.

Gute Lage und eine sehr freundlicher Host. Das Fenster im Zimmer ließ sich aber nicht öffnen, die Luft war sehr stickig und die Lüftung bei weitem nicht ausreichend, dafür aber laut. Schade.

The staff was of great help, but the building is quite smelly and windows don’t open in most rooms. Also, bathroom was quite dirty. Location was great though !

never stayed somewhere so disgustingly dirty, the only other guests i saw were all older men who seemed to have been there a while, if you’re a solo female i’d highly suggest you avoid, the front door was open 24/7 with no one on reception most of the time so security is pretty low, i arrived at 18:30 and had to wait for my room to be ready, used shower and toilet where possible at local gym to avoid the filth of the bathroom, mohammed was nice but that can’t make up for the hostel it’s ...

The reception desk stuff (Mohammed) was so helpful and kind all the time. Nevertheless I must say that the cleanliness was awful. I don't know who takes responsibility of that but it is serious, as far as I am concerned. Hair on the floor of my room, WC and lavabo dirty, and mold on shower curtains. My sheets and towel were clean, though, and the kitchen was okay.

The owner was really nice and the location is great but to be honest the bathroom was so disgusting I didn’t even want to shower there! It seems like there are some people who stay there for a long time, they don’t really behave well. So cleaning once in a day is not enough…. It was okay for the price but still scary.

La habitacion individual es bastante calurosa sin ventanas no hay como ventilar la pieza, hay un ventilador pero la unica forma de renovar el aire es dejando la puerta abierta. Todo es bastante oscuro con luces muy tenues. Tiene buena ubicación. La limpieza del lugar deja bastante que desear, los baños estaban muy sucios, con marcas en duchas murallas lavamanos etc. Los platos, tazas, servicios, bandejas en general no tenian buen aspecto hace falta mas limpieza en general en todo.

Unfortunately I didn’t had the chance to stay at this hostel because I made a wrong reservation so it resulted that it was for one as I wanted a room for two. Despite that Mohamed at the reception has been so understandings, kind and helpful. He has bring us to another hotel he know charging us a little more for a room with own bathroom in a nice and calm area next to the beach! He even drives us to the hotel with . I can’t give 10/10 because I didn’t stay at the hostel but Mohamed is 10...

Location is close to both ferry terminals A and D, the number 2 bus stop, for the airport and a small shopping centre. It's a 10 - 15 minute walk to the old city. The general area is fairly quiet. The first room I stayed in had a door that was not secure. After a couple of nights, I got an upgrade to a larger room with en suite shower and toilet. Location was really good; not only was it minutes away from the ferry terminal, but it was also right beside a huge shopping centre. Private rooms were very affordable, but the facilities were only somewhat clean and accessible (very few bathrooms despite the number of residents). No major common areas - this is definitely a hostel for travellers looking to keep to themselves. Security seemed quite lacklustre; the main door was always ajar and there was never anyone looking after the desk.

*no solo female travelers recommended* Harbour Hub is in a great location, 15 minutes walk from the Old Town. Mohammed, who seems to be the only employee, is kind, but that doesn’t make up for everything else. You can lock your own door, but the unoccupied rooms and the front door are unlocked 24/7, making it incredibly easy for anyone to enter. Hair all over bedroom floor, nasty two bathrooms for 20+ rooms, and there was no staff most of the day. Cheap, sure, but not very clean or secure.

Amazing hostel, extremely friendly staff. would stay there again. perfect location too.

Amazing staffs, everyone was helpful and friendly. Bathrooms and showers were borderline unusable.

This stay was humble and very welcoming after a long night of travel. A great place to meet people and explore Tallinn a bit further. Moxa is an absolute sweetheart who goes beyond for guests :^)

Hostellin sijainti on todella hyvä! Se on lähellä molempia terminaaleja ja vieressä on hyvä ruokakauppa Nautican kauppakeskuksessa. Vastaanotto oli niin sydämellinen ja olo tervetullut! Tiedän jo nyt; tulen kyllä uudestaan!

Une chambre solo pour 15€ la nuit c’est top et pour cela je recommande à fond. Le wifi marche super bien, mais c’est pas propre, le micro-ondes est ignoble (très très sale) et les douches pareilles mais l’eau est chaude !

The staff were simply incredible! Very friendly, spoke fantastic English (which made up for my lack of Estonian) & was always willing to help me when needed. My room was pristine & perfectly facilitated for the price (I had an interior single room). The only mild issue was, at times, the bathroom was a little dirty, but that’s also up to fellow guests to handle, not necessarily the staff. Overall, a fantastic stay, very much worth the money & fantastic location to get into Old Town!

The guy from the reception is so kind! HeHe made me very comfortable. The hostel is close to the harbour, which is ideal for a trip to Tallinn. There is not really a communal space, but that waz fine for me. The showers were outdated and not always clean, but I think this has more to do with the other guests

Impecable. Muy buen trato por parte del recepcionista (Incluso se levanto temprano para tomar mis llaves el día del check-out) y siempre predispuesto a ayudar con lo que fuere. A nivel general, el hostel esta bien ubicado a unos 15/20 minutos a pie del casco historico y se mantiene limpio y ordenado. Las habitaciones son privadas, cómodas y cálidas. Recomendable.

It is directly at the harbor, making it perfect for daytrips to Helsinki. Overall a more quiet hostel, good for relaxation rather than partying :)

For me, the location was prime; I had to walk an hour from the station, but the hostel is right next to the ferry terminal. Rooms are singles, which is great for privacy; there is some updating/renovations. The only negative for me was that there was only one shower and two restrooms for my use. One restroom was out of paper when I arrived, but was replaced. The shower curtain needs some TLC.

Muhammad is so friendly and kind! Super great value hostel located right next to the harbour. Great for those coming from or going to Finland or Sweden. 15 min walk to the historic centre and a huge supermarket nearby. beds are comfy. Just one thing to note the water in the bathroom next to room 15 tastes really funky so I won’t recommend brushing your teeth there. The other bathrooms and the kitchen are fine though.

The Location is perfect for the Ferry ⛴️ to Helsinki and there is a shopping mall and Supermarket The Room was good for a solo traveler Mohamed is the best and very respectful person and very helpful I only didn’t like the bathroom it is very small and needs new bath curtains
