Oasis Hostel

My room flooded because of a storm and it took them days to really fix the sink. Than they checked in a group of people at 1 am and didn’t even care that 3 people were sleeping in the room while the were talking normally and put the light on. The bike were the only good thing about this. The kitchen is so dirty.

Overall really overpriced, workers not especially nice, dirty facilities (toilets were disgusting is anybody cleaning them?), breakfast pretty cheap, party vibe, no room for relaxing and enjoying, bikes included which were fair, generally not recommendable, way better places to be in Himare

They had a fire and didnt tell us, then there was another fire so we left without staying a night and not receiving a full refund.

Im sorry but this hostel just wasn’t it. Bathrooms were disgusting, the drains didn’t work and there was never any toilet paper. The kitchens in the rooms were so gross and I’m fairly sure it’s where I got bedbugs. The vibe from the volunteers was also really weird. The outside area was nice and the owner was friendly.

This is not a chill hostel at all! If you want to party, you’ll love it. If you want a relaxed time or to meet relaxed people, it’s not it. Party went until midnight but people running in the corridor and letting themselves into other rooms until 2am. No real rules to the place which may be your vibe! Bathrooms are gross - black mould, stink and are attached to the rooms so make your room smell. Staff were low key rude and unhelpful but the free bike use was nice. Breakfast is cereal and br...

Facilities were pretty awful. Cramped rooms and filthy bathrooms. Not an ideal stay, volunteers were fab but managers weren’t super helpful and were kind of odd. Good location close to the beach though

Le staff est très sympa, la literie est confortable et les chambres sont propres. Il est très pratique aussi de pouvoir emprunter des vélos. Cependant, prendre du repos dans cet hostel est presque impossible, la musique et/ou les animations sont constantes de 21h à 1h du matin et les voyageurs ne sont pas respectueux, le staff n'est pas intervenu pour faire respecter les règles de vie en communauté.

Cool atmosphere in the courtyard outside, social, beds super comfy, staff nice. My locker didn’t work, the key was snapped, the bathroom had no lock, the door to bedroom didn’t have a key so we had to keep it open. Someone in our room shut the door so we were all locked out, the hostel couldn’t get us in. Bathrooms flooded, one smelt like sewage all the time, the toilet was broken and the hostel was annoyed at us for “breaking it” even though it was broken the whole time.

Das Hostel hat super viel Potenzial schön zu sein, aber leider nicht umgesetzt worden. Es ist echt dreckig und die Einrichtung alt, die Dusche funktionierte nicht richtig, außerdem eine Dusche und eine Toilette für das ganze Zimmer (9 Personen). Die Küche ist quasi nicht benutzbar und auf dem Hof stand 3 Tage lang dreckiges Geschirr rum. Die Anlage ist eigentlich ganz schön und die Lage in Ordnung.

Dated, out of town and fairly dirty. Rooms have kitchens in them and the bathrooms are grim. Decent atmosphere but not worth the money

What an amazing time we had!! Mikel was very lovely and helpful and made us feel so welcome. Free access to bikes also made it super easy to explore the city. The rooms are nice and cool, great to get away from the heat. Would highly recommend, we can’t wait to come back!

I had a great stay at Oasis and I would like to give a special shoutout to the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful from the very first moment. I arrived late at night with a last-minute reservation, and they did the late check-in without any issues. They offer breakfast, towels, and even free bikes to explore the town. Lastly, the dorms are crazy comfortable. I slept so well!

Fun hostel, the volunteers were a vibe, ended up becoming pretty good mates with them. The owner is a legend too, highly recommend it.

Love love love, would go back anytime, staff are amazing and common space is super social, breakfast included!! kinda far from the beach but they give you bikes and it’s a nice walk so didn’t bother me, rooms are fine bathrooms could be upgraded if being picky and fun activities run by the hostel all the time.

I had a great time here, but I will say it needs to be deep cleaned and have some upgrades to the facilities. The staff were helpful though and the vibe was great.

Atmosphere was very good- karaoke every night, very social and cheap bar. However, the bathroom was disgusting with water leaking and the toilet was broken. Far from the main part of the center but free bikes were great to get around. No curtains on the beds, with the bunks very close together. Free breakfast was good.

Pros: You’re a bit far from the beach but they let you use their bikes for free to get down there which is dope. It’s very social so I met some nice people. The staff and volunteers were friendly. Cons: Air con was broke so I got eaten by mosquitos at night. Bathrooms are right next to the beds so you’ll get woken up if you’re a light sleeper. Likewise, there’s loud music every night right below the dorm windows. But, tbf for the price it’s a good cheap party hostel if you’re into ...

loved the outdoor patio space, was a good spot for socializing and getting to know people. it is up a hill and a bit far from city center but the volunteers/staff were nice and i loved my roommates while i was there.

amazing people, really social, cool events, comfy beds although a little rickety. Every room has a private balcony which is awesome, extended my stay so much just like everyone else. Stay a long time!!
