Great location as its right in front of a tram stop and by the main station, however the showers and bathrooms were small, as well as the bedding was dirty and I think it was a bit pricey.

Yes, the hotel and staff are nice, thats why the high rating. Friendly and helping staff, nice atmosphere, with plants etc. The old building is nicely renovated (though the mold can be seen in the bathroom). Still, the price per night is exorbitant. We paid 358 swiss F for 2 nights 2p. For that price, I also expect to have at least breakfast included, and a bigger room with at least a small table and chair, and a small towel at the sink in the room. But perhaps these are swiss prices...?

Shower rooms and toilettes are limited in terms of capacity. But they are much cleaner than I thought. I had no issue with security but could be better. Staff were great.

Loved my time here - lovely facilities, GREAT location, adequately sized kitchen to prepare and store purchased food. Made me feel safe while solo travelling in Zurich!

The location is great, although the building is quite cramped. There’s only one toilet and shower per floor, which is a little rough, but it is manageable.

The actual room had a stunning view and the location was very convenient and the common areas and bathrooms and showers were kept clean.

Honestly one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in, I truly loved it here and this city will always be incredibly special to me. I long for the day I can return.

This is an amazing stay for its value! The location couldn’t be better, super close to the train and right along the river in old town. Beautiful, fairytale-like surrounding streets. The bed was so comfy and big, and the hotel has a gorgeous sitting room looking out at the water. We were so happy here, thank you Krone Hotel! Perfect stay!

This place is wonderful! The check in was so easy and quick. The staff is very communicative. I thought I was going to arrive after the check-in time was over, and they made sure that I had everything that I needed to check in, so I was never worried. The location is so perfect, it was next to everything I wanted to do. I even tried the Ukrainian restaurant, and it was delicious! I think this was a wonderful value, and I would be happy to stay here again.

Facilities were exactly at advertised, and bonus points for very friendly staff.

The hotel was better than I expected. We arrived after the reception had closed and left before it opened but had no issues collecting our keys and settling in! The location was great and we had a comfortable stay.
