De Bedstee Capsules

Worst hostel night in a while. The capsules are not sound proof in the slightest and the “quiet hours” aren’t enforced by staff at all. People were having full on convos in the dorm at 01:00. When asked to do something about it, a staff member sighed at me. Also: longest check in ever.

The main positive for this hostel is the staff who are very attentive and friendly (even offering to Microwave meals for us). The capsules themselves were well equipped with comfortable beds if not slightly on the small side for two people. This hostel also had a pleasant interior with clean washing facilities. A slight downside for us was that it it's in the museum district of Amsterdam and a reasonable walk away from the centre.

Very comfortable capsules! Air conditioned with comfortable mattresses and ability to adjust the lighting. Bathrooms were very clean and they provided soap which was a luxury after staying in other hostels! Fresh towels every day and a bathrobe provided. Very kind and helpful staff, in a great, quiet location. Capsules felt very private and safe, especially with your own bracelets to unlock them. We had a great time staying here and would definitely come back again.

Wow !! I booked a single room but they gave me a 2-people room (that was my luck i guess), so thay was nice! They have DEL lights inside the room + AC, and it was really hot outside so i appreciated a lot being fresh. The bathrooms are so pretty, they even have speakers with music! The walls are soundproof, and the morning buffet is a FULL buffet. I've never seen a hostel with that much food, and the staff is so nice !!

The staff were so kind and the pod was great!! This was our first time in a pod and it was great!

What a lovely place. The entire place felt secure and the capsule itself was very cozy. The staff was so professional and friendly. It was pricy but it was a boutique experience but it's also a tiny space so it's tough to reconcile what might be appropriate. While they are very clear about noise expectations some people just don't care (not their fault). The amenities (hairdryer, towels, bathroom, shampoo, etc) were all a great touch. Would one hundred percent recommend and would stay again.

Nous avons séjourné du 31 janvier au 2 février et nous avons adoré notre séjour. Le Staff est très accueillant, bienveillant et hyper disponible. Notre première expérience capsule a été géniale, à refaire, je recommande ! Merci.

The capsules give a really good sense of security, but can become very cramped/stuffy with all your belongings in there. Bathrooms were roomy and nice but not super clean. It wasn’t overly social, and unfortunately a lot of people disregard the quiet hours rule. Particularly staying in the same space as couples who kept talking all the time was frustrating, but that isn’t the hostels fault. Location is really great, right near tram. Overall it was a good stay and I would recommend it.

Stayed 2 nights. Totally lovely and just what I wanted. Solo traveller looking for a good value and comfy place to crash. This was everything I look for in accommodation and I couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you to the front of house staff for being so warm and welcoming.

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed at

ok, but overpriced - its still a hostel and not a hotel!

Wir hatten eine Nacht gebucht und fanden es ziemlich teuer (ca. 60€ pro Person). Nach dem Check-In sind wir mit unseren Bändchen zum Zimmer hochgelaufen. Dann haben wir das Zimmer aufgemacht und gesehen, dass eine Person da noch am Schlafen war (?). Dann würde uns als Lösung ein anderes Zimmer angeboten, welches die ganze Nacht sehr kühl war. Als Entschädigung wurden wir zu Drinks in dem Bar eingeladen, welche aber am nächsten morgen beim Check-Out abkassiert wurden. Nie wieder hier.

if you wanna do a museum trip its perfect otherwise look for something more in the city center

The staff was absolutely kind and helpful! The capsules are fun and cozy. We also booked last minute and had bikes we needed to put somewhere. The staff helped us with everything and there’s just nothing negative to say!

Definitely a nice change if you’ve been in hostels. I had the most amazing sleep and my room was beautiful

It was a very pleasant stay. It was a very clean and nice place. Highly recommendable
