Moiwa Lodge

I stayed here for a week and on the last day I broke my leg and tore most of the ligaments in my leg. That being said, the staff went above and beyond for me while I extended my stay until I could fly home. I’m an independent person and tried my best to manage my own but they insisted on helping me with almost everything. I made lifelong friends and had the most amazing snowboarding experience of my life. I am so grateful for the staff and their kindness. Thankyou!!!

I was so sad to leave this hostel, the people, food, activities were all great! The rooms were clean, and there’s lots of different options for food.

Great hostel. This is my second time staying here. Great atmosphere to meet people and one of my favorite hostels in the world. Only complaint is that this hostel adjusts their prices constantly depending on booking site and date. Recommend playing with dates and checking multiple booking sites.

Fantastic stay at the lodge and met wonderful people as well. Extremely friendly staff and overall a great stay.

Great staff, fairly easy walk to niseko resorts with shuttle available. Located at the base of Moiwa Resort.

This is an epic place with great vibes, great people and lots of common areas to hang out. I will stay here again if I come back to Niseko. I would recommend anyone to stay here if they have a car or if they don't need to be close to the main village/ restaurants/bars etc as this is a somewhat remote area and you have to take infrequent shuttles/busses to get around.

I had a great time at Moiwa. Loved the access to Moiwa resort - lots of fun runs off the back country gates. Staff were very kind and helped me feel at home. Met plenty of very lovely people (new friends). I will definitely return!

I stayed at Moiwa for 2 weeks and spent the whole time snowboarding! Moiwa lodge is in the perfect location to enjoy the moiwa ski resort which never had any lift lines. I also did the day trip to Rusutsu which was amazing. I met heaps of lovely people at the lodge and would definitely go back!

Loved this lodge honestly. there’s a reason why it has good reviews! very cozy, clean, spacious and good vibes. just remember to bring cash if you are going the the bar, however the man that runs it can cook up a banging dinner 10/10 every time. will definitely be back

Everything is fantastic except for the location. Since it’s not on a Niseko united mountain the shuttle is difficult to access and so the lodge is harder to get to during the days. But they have fantastic transport to/from Annapuri and also trips every Sunday/Wednesday which are fantastic. Ski room with all the equipment is a great perk as well.

Absolutely amazing place, great staff, great ski lodge type vibe. It is a bit far away from most things, but that’s advertised, so I can’t hold that against them

Gréât expérience and good time. The ambiance is good if you are social and go talk to people, you can easily make friends and go on slopes together. Ski rental is good quality and very handy coz they come at hostel directly. Staff is doing an ok job to gather people together around activities and day trips. Yummie brekkie, except rotten fruits. Thumb up for Clara, she is definitely bringing a great vibe to the hostel, little miss sunshine you may call her.

Moiwa lodge was the best. 10/10 recommend. Excellent staff, food and the bar was great. Comfy beds and stellar vibes
