terrible. rude staff. incompetent too. most disgusting kitchen I have ever seen. noice until 4 in the night allthough it should be quiet past 11. only thing I wanted while staying there was leaving.

The hostel was not clean at all! Kitchen stank and the rooms weren’t clean. If you want to drink everyday then this is your place

This was by far the worst experience I ever had with a hostel. I could not believe my eyes when I walked into the 6 bed dorm I paid 35€ a night for. Literally the most atrocious and disgusting ”room“ with a worn out mattress and overall dirty smell. The staff was doing the absolute bare minimum and it was always really loud until morning. Pretty sure I saw a homeless man sleeping in the living area downstairs in the morning. I strongly advise not to stay here, it will ruin your whole trave...

Avoid this hostel at all costs. The dorm was overcrowded, dirty, and unsafe—anyone could enter. Cleanliness was horrible, with clogged sinks and trash everywhere, even in the kitchen. Worst of all, groups of people talked loudly outside the windows all night until 10 AM, every day. Complaints were ignored or met with rudeness. For the price of a 7-night stay, it’s a nightmare. I will never return and strongly advise against staying here.

Not a bad hostel but really expensive. More than 50$ a day for sleep with 6 other people.. hostel is old and maybe need a new stuff like bed and pillow. But it was nice. People are really kind and friendly.

this hostel looks like a dump, everything is dirty, the rooms are a mess and the bathroom horrible: the floor is flooded, the toilets are covered in urine, there are even pieces of wall on the floor. Looks like no one has cleaned in weeks. for the price we pay for a hostel it is unacceptable. Also I left the hostel early leaving my bank account information for get back my deposit but they never refound it.

This place is literally falling apart! The rooms are very small (at least mine was) and dirty, some with no aircon. There are many mice in the kitchen (i saw them multiple times) There’s a lot of long termers that don’t really acknowledge you so I found it extremely hard to socialize.

Staff: Most of the time aren’t even at reception even during “staffed hours” and you have to go find them. Halfway through my stay switched me into a different room (they forgot to tell me and only remembered because I asked about a refund) Bathrooms: 4 showers and they seemingly only bough 2 planks of wood for the doors so they cut them in half. Any tall dude can see over. Location: Dope This place is FIFO hell do not stay here.

If you’re looking to even try and sleep don’t consider staying here. It is loud until silly hours of the night. I was not given a duvet cover and couldn’t find a staff member to ask for one. There are not enough power outlets in the rooms. There is huge gaps in the shower doors so no privacy. The kitchen stinks. They require a $20 cash deposit for your key, at check out I was told they didn’t have any cash to return my deposit so they would bank transfer it, I am still waiting for this.

Very nice people and closely located to bars, cafes, the beach and public transport!

Such a great atmosphere! The hostel has a really friendly, social vibe and it’s so easy to meet people. The staff are welcoming, the events are fun, and it genuinely feels like a little community. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a good time and great people 😊

Friendly staff and sociable hostel

Facilities were not in a good condition and not maintained well. There was a gas stove, but everyone had to buy their own lighter to put it on because they didn’t provide it. By far not enough storage space for good in the kitchen, everyone was struggling to cool their stuff. Shower could not be closed properly because doors were broken. There was never any soap in the bath room. So overall not a very pleasant stay, unfortunately.

I regret choosing this hostel. Overall, it was quite dirty. The shower was in very poor condition, with silicone completely covered in mold. The kitchen had multiple signs threatening to charge guests if they didn’t clean their own dishes, which is fair, but the hostel itself should ensure a clean space. Unfortunately, the kitchen was absolutely disgusting at any time of the day. The common areas are furnished with very old, worn-out furniture. The dorm beds have no curtains, no personal read...

Didn't like the hostel, not a very good vibe as it's full of long term residents that have made the dorms into their bedrooms. They also aren't particularly friendly. Overall it was pretty gross, the AC is not good and the beds were grim. Not sure how it has a high rating. Not cheap either. Checking out was a bit awkward aswell, they make it extra difficult I feel just so they can keep your key deposit.

The hostel was fine. It’s a big space and close to all the restaurants as well as the train. Lots of toilets and showers but the shower stalls were small and not much room for your stuff. My dorm was ok but there was people’s stuff all over and it was a bit muggy with all the bodies in there. My second night was rough because people from the hostel were outside our window playing music loudly until 3 am. Even with earplugs it was keeping me awake.

i have been staying here on and off for like 2 years. i love it. always great people coming in and out, also really cool longer stayers. great place to meet people and have fun. the laughing and good times never stop. the staff are always super helpful and awesome for info, hanging out and sorting out any issues. i just checked in again now for another week. when i get back from work (on the mines) im coming straight back. shout out to Jamie who is always around and sorts everything out. 😁�...

The Hostel is not the most modern but is clean and with a good vibe, I actually love the industrial look and the feeling. People is nice, staff is helpful and friendly. The location is ideal, right in the middle of the town, close to shops and cafè. Easy to find work around, 5 minutes to the beach and 2 minutes from the train station. I definitely recommend it.

Big common areas, two TV rooms, definitely enough space to hang out together. The kitchen offers enough fridge space, where I think that’s often a problem. Good strong aircon in the rooms and spacious lockers, beds are okay for the price. All in all a good experience for Perth hostels… Contras: the hostel don’t offer filtert water neither a lighter for the grills, so extra costs fy, as the water in freo is very chloric. Bathrooms are quite unclean. Loud music from the pub across the road...

I stayed here for a week and met some nice people which is why I stayed for so long but the hostel itself is not nice. Everything is very old and even broken (there was constantly water on the floor of the bathroom, one toilet completely out of order, kitchen quite dirty although they did clean it 2 a day. Lots of long timers who work, so you have to be lucky to meet people.

most unhelpful/rude staff I have encountered in all my hostels. Most of the staff are English (like myself) and were probably once backpackers themselves. Lots of long stay guests who seem to know eachother so not the best atmosphere for solo travellers. Rooms & social areas were decent. 2 out of 4 toilets broken when I stayed. I checked out early because I was made to feel so unwelcome. Fab location, fremantle is lush. Would only stay again if cheaper.

It was okay staying here. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was very dark. The kitchen was dirty and seemed very old.
