Baku Hostel

Good price, good location and friendly people but the facilities are not the best. The hostel is more adapt for workers than for backpackers.

Staff was amazing and I felt pretty safe as a solo traveler. However my biggest issue was the female rooms and bathroom. The actual beds are just comforters on a wooden bed frame and the bunk beds you can feel all the springs. The women’s bathroom was so gross, mold and rust everywhere, everything was constantly wet. I didn’t use the kitchen so I can’t say much there.

I stayed at Eminera Sweet Home for two nights and had a truly memorable experience. It’s a clean, budget-friendly place ideal for solo travelers and couples. The hosts are kind and helpful, offering free guidance around the city. You can cook your own meals, which is great for saving money. Two towels are provided, and laundry and ironing facilities are available. Cash is preferred, but card payment is also accepted. It’s a safe place, with separate rooms for women. Non-smoking rooms.
