L'Arveyron Open House

- The rooms were next to large garbage bins, and there was noise early in the morning due to the garbage being dragged, which made the place uncomfortable. As for breakfast, there was no variety in the food at all; we were forced to eat eggs every day.

- Chambre donnant sur une voie rapide et une voie de traîn, très bruyant. Les chambres sont mal insonorisées, on entends les voisins. Petit déjeuner à 14€50 Le pire : découverte de punaises de lit à 23h, appel du numéro d'urgence. Le personnel a été réactif et nous a proposé un changement de chambre pour celle juste en face...nous avons été obligé de négocier une chambre dans un autre bâtiment. La nuit nous a été remboursée sans difficulté, la moindre des choses, nous avons compris que c'est habituel dans cet hôtel dû à des clients qui dorment dans des refuges et rapportent les punaises dans les chambres de l’hôtel. En compensation, nous aurions appréciés un geste supplémentaire car nous avons très peur de rapporter ces bêtes dégoûtantes chez nous...bref mauvaise expérience.

- The dorm was awful - no windows, no room, tiny toilet room. It was like a cell.

- Die Tür zum Balkon sehr niedrig. Mein Lebebsgefährte, der 1,76 gross ist, hat sich deinen Stirn angestoßen und hat geblutet. Über dem Bett ist ein Querbalken, auch hier hat hat er sich den Kopf mal angestoßen. Die Decke ist bis zum Balken also weniger als 1,75m hoch.. Wir haben von allem Fotos gemacht auch von der blutende Wunde, werden erstmal einen Anwalt einschalten. Niemandem zu empfehlen.

- The dormitory was horrible! Small, made me think of a morgue. The feeling was extremely claustrophobic. Worst of all was the heat. Like a sauna, due to no ac or fan. Had to check out after 1 night, even if I had paid for 2 more nights.

- L'accueil très froid. Pas de télécommande Tv dans la chambre. La non réactivité de l'hôtesse d'accueil face à ce problème. Désintéressement total de sa part

- Das Hotel verdient max. 1 Stern! Es fehlt ein Chef/Chefin! Das Personal läuft mit miserablem Gesicht blind rum, am Buffet muss man alles melden, was leer ist (oft überhaupt kein Naturjoghurt, 3 Tage keine Eier, 3 Tage kein Orangensaft, immer das gleiche, billige Baguette, oftmals kein Besteck etc. etc.). Teilweise nur englisch sprechende Bedienungen, auch spanisch und italienisch - aber kaum französisch. Kein Lächeln, keine Begrüßung - nicht geschultes Personal! Der Weg ins Nachbarhaus zu unserem Zimmer war total vereist, hochgradig gefährlich. Trotz mehrmaligem Hinweis keine Besserung. Die Bar macht auf und zu wann sie will bzw. gerade jemand Zeit und Lust hat. Die Sandwiches aus dem Automat schmecken grausam. Die Zimmer gleichen einer DDR-Jugendherberge aus den 70ern! Das Zimmermädchen putzt ab und zu dünn drüber, im Bad auch mal die Spiegelkonsole, wenn sie Lust hat. Das Toilettenpapier war mehrmals leer, Schimmel extrem in einer Ecke der Badewanne. Das reservierte Doppelbett waren 2 getrennte Betten.....Die Eisenbahn fährt ab ca. 05.00 Uhr früh direkt am Zimmer vorbei (50m Abstand), ebenso lärmt die parallel verlaufende Bundesstraße...

+ Os quartos são limpos e organizados, a localização é perto dos Alpes e do centro. O café da manhã é muito bom e a comida do cardápio também é muito boa. Voltarei com certeza.

+ Tesis kartpostal gibi çok sevimli, sürekli fotoğraf çekmek istiyorsunuz. Kahvaltı harika ve çalışanlar da sempatik ve yardımcı. Bahar başlangıcı kayağın son zamanları olduğu için otele kayarak gelemedim ama daha karlı bir zamanda otele kayarak da gelebilirsiniz.

+ The hotel is ~30 minutes walking from the center and close to many walking trails. The view from the balcony was very nice. The bed was confortable and the room very clean. I appreciate that there was a kettle in the room and tea available.

- The narrow stairs can be quite difficult if you have a big bag, and some curtains were lacking in the room. The place has a private parking, but you need to pay 5 euros per day if you want to use it. It is not expensive, but it could be included in the original price, given that there is no space issues.

+ Like staying at a comfortable refuge. More like a community than a hotel. Friendly & relaxed. Good breakfast.

- Smaller than average bed for two

+ Lindo chalé com zonas comuns bem confortáveis, para além dos funcionários super simpáticos e solícitos.

- Quarto extremamente quente, mais parecia uma sauna, mesmo pedindo na recepção se fosse possível diminuir o aquecedor não resultou, acordava durante a noite todo molhado de suor, para além disso colchão super desconfortável, parecia que estava dormindo em cima apenas do estrado. A localização não é ruim, porém todas as noites após descer do ônibus tinha que caminhar em total escuridão até chegar no chalé.
