Disgusting bathrooms

Probably the worst stay I’ve had in Asia so far. It is not safe for a solo female traveller. During the stay there was several aggressive males who started fights and spoke disgustingly about females. Nothing was done about this and they were allowed to stay and cause more issues and made several people feel uncomfortable. We complained on our final day and did get a refund for the stay, however, more should have been done to ensure the safety of those in the hostel. The food was avera...

It was fine. A party hostel and quite far out. Would not stay again.

Nette, moderne kamer met schone badkamer. Het ontbijt is uitstekend met pancakes en omeletten die vers worden bereid. Helaas ook flinke minpunten: midden in de nacht renden dronken gasten schreeuwend door de gangen, waardoor we meerdere keren wakker werden. Bij betaling met pin rekenen ze 11% transactiekosten (normaal 3%) en wilden ze ons paspoort achterhouden toen we niet direct contant konden betalen. Daarnaast is onze witte was grijs en gevlekt teruggekomen.

Rooms are damp and bad condensation… we ended up getting ill from the dampness and all our clothes were damp and smelly. Good food though, and free beer!

I did not like the hostel. Let's start with the location: the worst possible one - nothing in the range of kms. The breakfast is nice, the coffee is terrible. I loved the free beer in the evening; the restaurant is meh - few options, nothing really remarkable (and there is no option to go elsewhere). The "pub crawl" is a bus that brings you to a bar in the town - when coming back a friend felt sick, so the bus stopped in the middle of nowhere and we had to walk back two kms in the pitch dark an...

I think it is a standard hostel. The staff did the bare minimum and was not overfriendly. The outside area was very nice, the music was quite loud during the evening and they allowed and enabled roadie guests, which made other guest feel uncomfortable. I personally am very allergic to mold and had stains behind my bed. This was very unfortunate, since I had an allergic reaction after 2 days, because I did not see it in the first place. Apart from that it was clean and a beautiful place.

friendly staff, nice bathroom. the w**st kind of crowd. mostly young Brits who love to get drunk and have s*x in the dorm. Frat boy vibes everywhere. I give some points for the friendly staff and nice breakfast.

The staff were a bit confrontational, though they would help us, it seemed like an inconvenience. Bathrooms were not very clean. Also the location was not great if you wanted to go anywhere, although you could get taxi’s through the hostel (though without a real way to get back) or if you were willing to drive a motorbike. The breakfast buffet was good but the rest of the food there wasn’t great.

The stay at the Buffalo hostel was great! The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful! I would defensively go there again!

Perfekte Hostel! Betten sind bequem, alles ist sauber, Frühstück ist echt gut, es gibt einen Pool und sogar einfach ein Jacuzzi! Atmosphäre ist auch super und es ist sehr einfach Leute kennenzulernen. Die Lage ist kein großes Problem weil es 3 mal täglich kostenlose Shuttles ins Dorf gibt und wieder zurück. wenn man was verbessern könnte dann das es vielleicht noch einen späteren shuttle gibt, der letzte ist um 16 Uhr. alles in allem fantastisches Hostel, eines der besten wo ich je war!

Very social and party hostel with a big open space and the pool. It’s far from the center though, so you need to rent a bike or scooter, but the hostel itself is very nice

incroyable hostel à Catba, le lieu, l'emplacement, les activités proposées et la chambre. c'est parfait pour des backpackers. pour la réservation de la croisière, des navettes ou autres c'est le top

Auberge avec full ambiance, beaucoup de trucs free (free bbq buffet le dimanche, free cockatil, free beer chaque soir, free breakfast buffet chaque matin, free shuttle pour aller en ville) puis il y a une piscine et un jacuzzi ! Personnel du bar bof aimable mais à la réception ils sont super sympas ! Chambre sont biens, lit confortable et super jolie sdb !

The hostel has great food at their restaurant, western food and asian food. On Sundays they have free BBQ, most nights they have free beer or cocktails. Games and free shots every night and the pool and jacuzzi is very nice. It is easy to organise busses to pick you up from the hostel for trips or onward travel. Lots of fun :)

Sehr social, coole Ausflüge, Zimmer gut eingerichtet. Lage okay, aber man sollte einen Scooter mieten da es kein Grab gibt

Loved this place! Everything is so clean and pool and jacuzzi area is very nice to relax by. The restaurant has lots of yummy and cheap options. Each bed has a charging port, storage and a light and a curtain. Cannot recommend this place enough!!! Also a great place to volunteer as a party host, I did it for a week and the manager is so kind and funny!!

Great hostel! Free shuttles into town are fab and they also offer a shuttle into town and back every night for their night out. The food is really good in the restaurant and I love the salt coffee! Really social, activities every night, lovely outside space / pool area and the dorms are super comfortable and spacious!

Amazing hostel, had a very nice stay, big up to Trung who was such a nice person and made us feel super confortable around here ! I can only recommend this hostel

Great social hostel with everything you need on site, clean & comfortable rooms/beds. It’s a bit far out so you need to hire a bike or use the hostels free shuttle bus to get into town.

Really nice hostel with lovely staff! It is a big hostel with a lot of rooms. It is a little bit away from the centre but you can rent a motorbike or bike from the hostel.

Massive comfy beds, best I’ve had in Vietnam! Big pool and jacuzzi, big social seating area and a free beer/cocktail hour everyday :D all the reps were super lovely and led games etc every night and put in lots of effort with everyone! The owner was also very lovely ❤️

Nice place for female solo travellers! ☺️ Clean Rooms and nice activities to meet people. Definitely recommend ☺️

An amazing hostel!! They have events every night- free beer, free cocktails, bbq nights, free shuttles to and from the town. The restaurant is also 10/10

The best hostel on the island. So much fun and the staff really go above and beyond! Would highly recommend
