+ + Das Personal war mega freundlich, man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt + sehr entspannter Vibe
- - die Sauberkeit, der Abfalleimer im Bad wurde nicht geleert und Toilettenpapier nicht nachgefüllt - sehr wenig vegetarische Auswahl im Restaurant - die Lage ist schon ziemlich außerhalb, man braucht einen Scooter

+ -liebevoll und gemütlich gestaltet im Gesamten (die Zimmer sehr schlicht) - ganz nettes und familiäres Personal - leckere Frühstück inklusive und wer mal "zu Hause" Abendessen möchte, kann das hier für wenig Geld sehr lecker (wir hatten mexikanisch+Burger) 😊 - sehr süß 2 Katzen und ein Welpe, die sich über Kuscheleinheiten freuen
- - Betten extrem hart (aber das ist Geschmack Sache) - Zimmer sehr steril
Staff was really nice! And we love the little puppy. Only downsides are how far away from the city it is and there was no hot water.
It’s a really nice hostel and the staff is welcoming. The only thing I would say is, that if you stay here you should know how to ride a bike( I didn’t so it was a bit difficult for me. I took the local bus, but it only drives until 5-6pm) Besides that it was really nice

Very very nice and clean Hostel. Gives more of a Hotel vibe! Breakfast ist Tasty, it has nice Manager and welcoming Rep. You get in contact with Lots of People, easy to rent a motobike to drive around the island. Would really recommend coming here!

The hotel has a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind after exploring the island. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations and services. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering good value for the price. The swimming pool water was not very clean. Overall, it’s a nice choice for travelers looking for a calm and welcoming place to stay in Cat Ba.

Très bon hostel, le staff est super cool et arrangeant. Proche de tout avec un scooter et bon petit déjeuner, je recommande

+ Clean pool, comfortable beds, great food (free breakfast), my dorm room was very spacious with a clean private bathroom, it even has a, wardrobe/bag storage, bedside locker, cofee table and chairs and a bedside draw. The staff here are amazing and looked after me for a week after I had an accident & I couldn't wish to be in a better place to recover. It is a couple of km from the center but this has upsides with the obvious downsides. 10/10, will be coming back. They also have a gorgeous dog mook and 2 sweet cats.

I really loved this hostel, such a good community. I made a lot of friends with everyone staying there, really good vibe and staff are your friends as well. Tastiest hostel breakfast I've had and they have a Mexican restaurant in the hostel which I highly recommend. They have the friendliest puppy and cats ever. This is the only place I want to stay when I go to Cat Ba again.
We were so happy with our stay! The rooms were clean and the staff super friendly. We also extended our stay, because it was so nice. Would come for sure! :))
+ Great Hostel with nice Staff:) Tom was so friendly, helped us with everything and really cared about our well beeing. When we had problems with our motorbike, he immideately aranged help. And the owner Tilo invited us for some free beers and "happy Water". So defently can reccomend for your stay on Cat Ba, a liitle bit outside the touristy town.

This hostel was absolutely lovely. A beautiful, issue-free experience: The receptionist, Tom, and his crew, were sweethearts and caring till the end, even checking in and making sure we arrived safely at our next stay after departing from Chillin House. The food offer was diverse and delicious, the space cosy and comfortable, we felt quite at home, and we're very sad to leave. Also, there are two sweet, cuddly cats, and a loving dog, water could always be refilled, and the music was great!

Very good hostel with a very friendly staff and a really good mexican chef that will prepare you the best food. 100% recommend
The owners were super nice and it’s a great hostel with decent food. However as a solo traveller who doesn’t ride a motorbike, it’s quite far out of the main centre and 100k to get back in the evenings with a taxi as there is no grab on the island. The hostel would be perfect if they offered bicycle rental or shuttle service- other than that fab place and fab price!
+ Die Unterkunft war der Hammer, wir haben uns von Anfang an direkt wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Vermieter waren mega hilfsbereit und alle waren extrem freundlich. Es gibt einen mexikanischen Koch der Hammer tacos macht und ein Frühstück am Morgen. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder dort übernachten. Es gab zu dem Zeitpunkt zwei kleine super süße Katzen und einen kleinen Hund.
