Villa Las Arecas

Very family runs this place. Vinales is not large so it is only 2 blocks from downtown and there are several affordable restaurants nearby.

Loved my stay. Clean, big room, comfortable beds, kindest hosts. Great value for money. 100% recommend on any trip to Vinales

Titi was so so lovely to us and I can only recommend her! Also check out Don Carmelo’s restaurant on her road - the cerdo al piña is to die for while being cheap! Titi massively helped me out, I would’ve been stuck in Cuba had she not helped me wire money to her son in exchange for cash. She was so attentive and kind and can sort you out with other casas for the rest of your trip!

Titi was a great host!! She was very helpful with suggestions and breakfast was really nice. She helped us organise transport, horse tour and bike rental. Clean and spacious room and 2 min walk to the main street. Highly recommend!!!

Tutto meraviglioso, la signora Titti ti entra nel cuore ed ha reso tutto perfetto. È di una gentilezza innata e mi ha aiutato molto. La stanza era molto accogliente e la posizione a 2 minuti dalla piazza centrale. Se andate a Vinales, dovete assolutamente soggiornare da lei.

J'ai passé un agréable séjour chez « La Titi », une personne extraordinaire au grand cœur. Tous les membres de la famille sont à votre écoute pour vous permettre de vous sentir à l'aise et de profiter pleinement de Viñales !

I’m just thankful 🙏 I got to meet Titi and her amazing family. In Viñales, you’ll find a lot of family houses that receive guests by renting some of their bedrooms. I was lucky enough to stay with one of the most welcoming and kindhearted families in all of Cuba. Everything, from the people, the location, the amenities, etc. was incredible. Couldn’t be more grateful for the experience 🫶

Comfortable, clean and quiet place to stay. Host is very helpful and friendly. Just two minutes walking distance to many restaurants and the main streets. Rooms clean and spacious. The mattresses could be replaced soon as they are not the most comfortable ones. Thank you for the nice stay

the host was lovely. the son spoke good english, and they helped us a lot. they also did our washing for cheap. location is less than 5 min walk to town square.

We have never felt so at home. Titi is very generous and will help you with anything from change money (at a reasonable rate) and even help wash clothes at a small fee. She also starts every day by cooking a delicious homemade breakfast (homemade juice, coffee, fruit, eggs, bread) for only 4 USD pr person. Cant beat that! The room was clean, with private bathroom and a nice shower.

Location was central in Viñales. Lovely house with backyard. Room was spacious, clean, equipped with fridge, international power sockets and books. Toilet and shower were clean. Titi was very welcoming, nice and helpful- didn’t speak much English though. Breakfast was normal for Cuba. Wi-Fi did not work. Air condition switches on but no cool air comes out but there’s a fan. Amazing value for money! We really enjoyed our stay.

La dueña de la casa es una persona increible, consigue precios de los tours realmente al mejor precio puesto que hable con otros viajeros que pagaron el doble o el triple! la habotacion limpia y un desayuno abundante por un precio genial sin duda volveria a villa las arecas un saludo nos vemos pronto!

I spent 1 night at Villa Las Arecas. It exceeded my expectations in every single way. The hosts were kind and helpful. They pulled out brochures and a map as soon as I arrived to show me all the best spots to visit in the area. The views from the terraces were amazing. There is hot water, toilet paper, and soap, all the things I didn't have in my previous hostel so I really appreciate them. You can rent a bike for $5 per day, which I did. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
