Calafate Hostel

Pontos positivos: localização, é a duas quadras da avenida principal e os transfers passam lá para passeios. Pontos negativos: Café da manhã com pouca opção e pra pegar outras opções tem que pagar, o pagamento não condiz com o que estava aqui no app, me cobraram outro valor (já fiz reclamação no app), ambiente MUITO quente, tem aquecedores até demais, é um forno lá dentro, não tem tomada ao lado da cama na beliche de cima, só tem uma chave do quarto que fica com quem pegar pr...

Terrible hostel. Dirty and incredibly uncomfortable. Recommend avoiding if at all possible.

The info they have here is that all taxes are included but as soon as you get there they tell you that you missed the IVA 21% tax and make you pay it, even if you explain it's their mistake on not telling this online they say it's your and the site's fault, basically ignoring every information the website gives you. Breakfast is good but the rooms are small and the upper beds are really close to the ceiling. Their lockers are tiny and can't fit even a traveller's backpack, leaving you totally...

This hostel is just plain bad. Really close to a loud bar so don’t expect to sleep. Rooms insanely hot at night and don’t vent. Unclean pretty much everywhere including kitchens and bathroom. Breakfast is also quite bad.

If you can afford stay somewhere else. The common rooms are like a psychiatric ward : sterile and cold with no comfortable furnitures. The walls in the rooms are thin so you can hear the neighbours five block away snoring. Lot off noice all night through. The kitchen is poorly equipted, lacking the basics such as dish soap. The upper balcony is a plus, so is the garden. And it a nice place if you wanna loose some weight because they rationalise your breakfast. Would give it a 5/0

Das Hostel an sich ist okay. Die Preise, die im Hostel angeboten werden sind meiner Meinung nach nur leider echt teuer. Die Küche ist ebenfalls nur sehr schwach ausgestattet, sollte ma hier also viel kochen wollen, würde ich eine andere Unterkunft empfehlen.

Die Zimmer und das Gemeinschaftsbad waren sauber und ein Pluspunkt waren die Vorhänge an den Betten. Die Küche ist leider dreckig und ungenügend ausgestattet. Das Personal war nett und hilfreich bei der Planung von Ausflügen. Im Hostel sind überwiegend Gruppen und Paare, als Solo-Traveler findet man wenig Anschluss und im Gemeinschaftsraum, der nur bis Mitternacht geöffnet ist, war auch nichts los, leider echt tote Stimmung :(

La cama era bien incómoda, a parte de estar en una litera, el techo tenía un cajón donde para subir te chocabas con la cabeza y no podías ni estar sentado en la cama. la cama tenía la forma de los anteriores huéspedes y te obligaba a dormir contra la pared. Otra cosa que no me gustó, es que los huéspedes roban la comida aún escribiendo nombres fechas y lo que sea.

This hostel was soo nice. Really warm, nice decor, good sized kitchen, lots of comunal space, helpful tour desk, and really easy to meet people. The only thing I can fault is that there's no locks on the bathroom doors. I was in a mixed dorm and it felt uncomfortable taking a shower without being able to lock the door.

I stayed just one night. Nice chill room and terrasse, not very full of life as much as I saw but it may depend on people. The breakfast was good and sufficient, I was welcomed well enough. I don't remember anything good or bad about the cleanliness. Didn't use the kitchen. Well positioned to be close to the life in town.

Staff were really helpful with booking shuttles for us, each bed had curtains which is a great addition and each room had big lockers for storage. If you’re looking for a social atmosphere, this isn’t the hostel for you.

Très bon hostel ! Tout est propre et bien situé dans le centre de Calafate.

Great breakfast, good location.

Cute space, nice breakfast, beds were nice and cozy, nothing to be added! The hostel arranged trips to the glacier and were very friendly. The only inconvenient thing is that they asked you to leave your dorm key at the reception every time you went out (even just for groceries). I didn’t do it bc it felt unnecessary but I don’t think they really enforced this rule much.

Pros: - Large locker (need your own lock, but the room was lockable though most people just leave it unlocked). - Cool feature where you could draw a curtain around the bed to reduce the chance of being woken up. - Huge common area with vibes of a cabin. - Separate kitchen and dining area Cons: - Room was a dark, and the overhead light wasn't really enough. - Internet was spotty

Bel hostel, propre, plutôt calme et très bien placé

Gros hostel avec tout ce qu’il faut ! Un peu loin de la station de bus (compter 25 minutes à pieds), et propreté dans les douches/toilettes pas impeccable, mais ça fait le taf !

Kitchen is small and not well equipped. Bathrooms could be cleaner. Overall the hostel could need an upgrade. Staff is very helpful, even though sometimes it looks like you bother them when you have questions. My biggest concern is they require you to leave key at reception when you leave hostel. Anyone can ask to have a key to whatever room they want, no one checks that you actually stay in that room. Felt very unsafe, so I'm grateful Calafate is a relatively safe town.

This is a really solid hostel and an affordable option when visiting Calafate. There wasn't really a social life (as post hike fatigue seemed to dominate). facilities and social spaces were good + it wasn't difficult to get to the coach station/go to the national park

Nice breakfast and good place in town!

Bien qu'un peu éloigné du terminal cet hostel est central pour profiter du reste de la ville. Les chambres sont propres et sécurisées. Il y a des rideaux sur les lits, une lampe et plusieurs prises pour chacun, c'est très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, le personnel accueillant, l'ambiance sympathique. Tout est super!

Great hostel with friendly and extremely helpful staff. The free breakfast is really nice - boiled eggs, toast and jam, cereal, banana, coffee/tea/hot chocolate. We mainly stayed in 4 bed dorms but one night was spent in a three bed private room which was fab. Lovely common room too.
