- Si vous lisez cet avis et que vous n’avez pas encore réservé, FUYEZ ! Malgré un excellent accueil de la part de l’équipe (notamment Vanessa que nous remercions pour son professionnalisme) cette auberge de jeunesse est bien trop chère pour la qualité de séjour qu’elle propose : cafards, rats, douches et toilettes constamment laissées sales par les autres occupants, manque d’ustensiles de cuisine qui en plus d’être rares sont sales ! Ayant l’habitude de côtoyer des hostels dans de nombreux pays c’est de loin le pire séjour que nous avons passé. Alors si vous êtes de passage dans cette magnifique ville de San Francisco, n’hésitez pas à vous tourner vers un autre logement pour passer de belles vacances.

- The lady that did the check in, they didn’t give towels, there were bugs in the bed and floor, no AC it was so hot and horrible, shower was dirty, too dark

+ Staff was really nice and went out of their way to accommodate me. The common area was really nice, like grandma’s living room. Lockers are super big (but dirty)

- It was really really dirty and smelly. My pillow stunk, I found blonde hair and a pill in my bed, couldn’t get myself to take a shower, it was just so nasty. There’s no paper towel in the bathrooms so you always touch wet door handles. Half of the bathrooms aren’t working. There’s people living long term („staff“) who take up all the space and lockers in the rooms. Beds are super super high and hard to get into. There’s also some nasty air freshener going on so all the hallways smell like toilet. The room doors have to be locked with keys which is really annoying and also unsafe cause some people leave it unlocked. I saw that the hostel left comments about cleaning the property multiple times a day, that might be true, but the cleaners obviously have absolutely no clue about what clean looks like. I initially chose this hostel because of it‘s high rating (unfortunately didn’t read the reviews) and so it boggles my mind that people point out how dirty and uncomfortable it is but then still give it nine points.

- C’est vétuste, ya pas de luminosité et c’est glauque, on se croirait dans un film d’horreur

+ Clean and well-managed. Probably the best hostel in the city and without a doubt a unique spot for the affluent and well-mannered traveler.

- Some roommates !)))) but ok It San Francisco !)))

+ La chambre avec des lits confortables. La cuisine était bien équipée et la salle pour prendre les repas avait déjà grandes tables pour accueillir un nombre adéquate de personnes

- Les escaliers à monter pour aller à la chambre puis à descendre pour aller à la cuisine. Difficile pour une personne à mobilité réduite. La salle de bain et les toilettes du premier étage étaient hors service il fallait monter au deuxième étage pour accéder à d’autres douches

+ Great location and staff. Quiet hostel that provided all needed amenities for my stay.

- The bathroom in the private room was a bit small and shower curtains were not clean. Bed Linen seemed pretty old as well. The heater didn't work in the room which made it cold at times.
