Really nice staff however they need to update facilities a little, there was quite a lot of mould in the showers etc. Dirty kitchen. There also wasn't any social atmosphere here if you are solo travelling and want to meet people for doing hikes etc.

the staff were all really helpful with everything but the hostel was pretty basic. we didn’t get to try the included breakfast because it was so early! chris, the owner, helped us organise some tours and was really kind! if we came back to huaraz probably would look somewhere else

Propriétaires très gentils et accueillants, il est noté qu’on peut arriver tôt mais ils ont été surpris de me voir arriver à 9h. Les rando commencent tôt donc prévoir son petit dej, et parfois personne n’est là pour nous le faire, ambiance très calme, et cuisine ferme tôt (21h), eau chaude et lit de qualité

Wir waren im Juni 2025 über eine Woche dort. Leider muss man sagen, dass unser Zimmer insbesondere das Bad sehr dreckig waren inkl. Schimmel. Obwohl wir für 10 Tage dort waren, mussten wir für ein Wechselhandtuch bezahlen. Das Frühstück ist mit einem Toast und einer Mandarine täglich sehr knapp. Trotz vieler Bemühungen unsererseits waren einige Mitarbeiter stets unfreundlich und unmotiviert. Wir haben uns daher leider nicht wohl gefühlt.

The Dormroom in the Basement wasnt so inviting. But yeah, as you are active during the day. The Toilet was next to the room and a shower one floor up. Nice rooftop and you can find people quickly to chat about the treks etc.. Chris has his Tour office around the corner and offers a good services. If you really want to have good quality from the equipment and not just basic food during your santa cruz trek, he's your guy. But I changed to Aldos. Like it there more.

Basic hostel but small and sociable and great to meet people. Chris is great for advice and organising trips for you! Booked Santa Cruz through the hostel and can’t recommend enough!

Rating is a bit harsh but wifi was out one night and gas was out another. Bathroom had mold and toilet was not cleaned often enough and sometimes without toilet paper/overflowing trash. Included breakfast was at least 30 min late everyday so it had to be missed on hike days. Hosts are knowledgeable and rooftop is great but definitely some areas to improve.

Great value for money, well located, nicely equipped kitchen. Family run hostel, really friendly staff and free breakfast

The private Mountain View room was huge, with lots of storage. Comfy bed and really hot shower! The staff were very friendly and helpful over WhatsApp for anything needed. We wished we had stayed here for our entire time in Huaraz!

Chris is an awesome guy and his hostel has a great vibe! Many travellers and good conversations. Thanks for the amazing campfire Chris!

A rare unobstructed view of the mountains from the rooftop lounge and breakfast dining room. A bit of an uphill walk to get home.

Quiet place, perfect to prepare for a hike. Very clean and comfy beds. Not the easiest to meet other people.

great shower and very clean rooms. i dont recommend booking day trips with this hostel since they forgot me and another girl got forgotten two days in a row.

Una grata experiencia , limpio ,ordenado ,me organizaron todas mis expediciones a mi y a mi grupo de amigos , hostal muy sociable ,la vista en su terraza es completa y perfecta ,desayuno miy rico y mas opciones en su cafeteria

We enjoyed our stay here. Location is about a 15 minute walk from the centre. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was warm, clean and comfortable. Kitchen is clean and has everything you need.

Really nice place to stay. I regret not staying here from the beginning. Nice vibes. Only issue was that sometimes all the bathrooms are occupied

A lovely family run hostel only a 10 min walk from the centre of Huaraz. The staff are great at helping organising trips and advising on the best hikes in the area. The atmosphere here was chilled and super friendly, lots of people cooked dinner together in the evenings. If you’re looking to meet like-minded people who love the outdoors then this is the place!

Uns hat der Aufenthalt hier sehr gefallen. Es war eine angenehme entspannte Atmossphäre. Das einzige ist, dass man Tahesausflüge dort nicht gut buchen konnte, aber sonst war alles top :)

Me hospedé 7 noches, muy buen hostel en Huaraz! Chris es súper amable y puede ayudarte con orientación sobre los tours y Martha es un amor de persona. Me sentí como en casa. La cocina es muy útil y el rooftop, donde tomas el desayuno, es un buen ambiente para conversar con otros viajeros. Eli en la recepción es súper amable, la ubicación es muy tranquila. Las habitaciones siempre estuvieron limpias, y están Ok de acuerdo al precio.
