Kitchen was very dirty at time of my stay

Left without staying there because the plce is a mess and very dirty. There was no one around anyway…

Nous avons été extrêmement déçus de notre séjour dans ce logement. La chambre ne correspondait pas aux photos. Alors que les photos étaient lumineuses, le logement était très très sombre. Les sanitaires n'étaient pas très propres, et il fallait réclamer pour que l'eau chaude soit activée lorsqu'on voulait prendre une douche, sinon, c'était eau froide! Je ne vous parle pas de la cuisine qui était dans un état ... bien bien sale! C'est à fuir! Enfin, pour dormir, dans cette ch...

Leider war unser Aufenthalt nicht wirklich angenehm. Das Haus wirkt so, als wird es nicht wirklich unterhalten: der Strom ging zuerst nicht (wir mussten ihn selbst einstellen), unser Zimmer war kalt, es stand im Flur Gerümpel umher und es hatte in manchen Räumen Vorhänge, hinter denen Müll und alte Gegenstände (Velo, Fernseher, etc.) verstaut waren. Zudem war der Duschvorhang unseres Bads schmutzig und voller Schimmel.

Das Bad war leider voller Schimmel. Die Atmosphäre ist etwas creepy und der Geruch im Haus modrig. Zudem war der Host wenig entgegenkommend.

Luogo con grandi potenzialità ma in totale stato di incuria. Camera decente ma spazi comuni in condizioni igieniche assurde. Molto carino lo spazio esterno. Proprietario simpatico e gentile ma dovrebbe darsi più da fare per tenere la sua struttura in condizioni migliori

The hostel is well situated in the city. The dorm is fine but the matresses are very thin. The bathroom is a little outdated. The kitchen is very old and dirty and should be renovated (or cleaned at least). The courtyard could be nicer.

We had a very smelly apartment. There is water in the walls and it’s a bit rotten. The owner is very friendly and we could leave our luggage in the morning in the premises.

Sehr netter Host, er hat uns ungefragt ein Upgrade auf ein Privat Zimmer zum gleichen Preis wie die Schlafsäle angeboten. Aber das Zimmer war schimmelig und eiskalt. Es gab keine Möglichkeit das Zimmer z.B. mit einer AC aufzuwärmen. Die Gemeinschaftsküche war noch schlimmer. Super verdreckt.

Die Unterkunft liegt schön zentral in Milfontes in der Nähe von Restaurants, Cafés und Supermärkten. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und willkommen, da alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet ist. Außerdem gibt es eine sehr süße, verschmuste Katze. Perfekt für Wanderer des Fisherman‘s Trails.

Great hostel for a stop on the fisherman’s trail! Very nice host! Our room could not lock during the night which was a bit unfortunate though.

Rui is a great host, very trustworthy and makes one feel at home at Casa Amarela. But although he seems to be a passionate traveller himself, the facilities – especially in the kitchen – left much to be desired (e.g. no sharp knife, moldy cutting boards). Apart from the fact that the furnishings and decoration are somewhat uninspired to my taste, Casa Amarela is an accommodation even with a small roof terrace with sea view and offers very good value for money.

De plek heeft absoluut potentie, en had ook wel een gezellige uitstraling, maar kan op een aantal punten flink verbeterd worden. Mooie patio, maar er lag troep (kapotte stoelen, vieze kussens, etc). Er liepen katten rond. Het stonk dus ook een beetje. Het tochtte door het hele pand. Smoezelige keuken met ontzettend smerige afzuigkap. Gevaarlijke trappen zonder leuning. Handdoekenrekje viel v/d muur. Misschien prima als je jong bent en gaat backpacken, maar ik zou deze plek niet willen aanraden.

Total lustiger Besitzer mit Schmusekatze und echt schöne Zimmer, die Küche war nicht ganz so sauber aber nutzbar. Man konnte toll draußen sitzen und essen mit den anderen Gästen. Supermarkt und Restaurants waren auch gut erreichbar.

Unfassbar liebes Hostel mit super coolem Besitzer, man fühlt sich direkt super wohl!! Der Innenhof ist super zum Zusammensitzen und in der Küche kann man gut kochen:) Riesengroße Empfehlung:)

Établissement très joli au centre de la ville, mais très froid en hiver. Également moins rempli eh dehors de la haute saison.

Owner was very communicative. Wi-Fi didn’t work and power went out a couple of times but was resolved pretty fast. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious.

Rui is such a nice host, and very cosy atmosphere

sehr, sehr lieber Gastgeber, der sich um einen und seine Wünsche kümmert. Check-In war einfach, Zimmer schön. Generell sauber, in der Küche ists nur 80% sauber, aber was will man von einer Hostelküche erwarten. Dort läuft auch eine sehr zutrauliche, süße, verschmuste Katze rum :)

Ótimo hostel bem localizado na vila. O Rui foi um host espetacular, adorei ouvir as suas histórias de viagem! Recomendo muito
