Massiosare El Hostel

Hostel was lovely, nice showers, bathrooms. Beds were comfortable and it was a nice vibe throughout the hostel. There was a great communal area on the roof, by the kitchen and kitchen in the living room.

Amazing hostel! Clean and comfortable rooms, super friendly staff and volunteers, and a great social vibe. Perfect location close to everything and near the metro, making it easy to get around. The rooftop is a great place to relax and meet people, and the team gives excellent tips and recommendations. No elevator, so stairs can be a bit hard with bags at first, but it’s totally fine after. I even extended my stay because I felt so good. Highly recommend!

I stayed here almost a month and did not feel welcome. Breakfast was always the same: a small portion of rice and beans. Bathrooms were poorly maintained, with trash cans overflowing with used toilet paper. The kitchen was often full of dirty dishes and expired food. Cleaning staff played loud music instead of cleaning. Many mosquitoes at night. I was also falsely accused of turning on lights at 4 a.m. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

Planed on staying for two days, ended up staying for a week. Had the best time meeting the nicest people here! The community spaces automatically invite you to get in contact with others cause they are designed so openly. Great for solo travelers. Kitchen was great too! Only things that could be better is curtains on the beds and warmer showers. Loved it!!!

This is a very chill hostel and the staff is very friendly, especially Paula and Alex. It is a social hostel; not for partying but still a great vibe. The facilities are clean and the kitchen is large and includes everything you need. Having drinkable water was also very nice. Access to the city is easy and you can walk everywhere or take public transportation. I recommend this hostel especially for solo travelers.

I love this hostel, it feels like how hostels were on my first backpacking trip years ago. The moment I arrived, it felt like I was a friend's house, and meeting friends of friends. Staff is also really nice! Breakfast was vegetarian, simple, but a special moment every day to just be, and chat to see what everyone is up to for the day. The only downside are the stairs, but I guess... it's exercise :)

Only stayed one night, but this was my best stay in Mexico City. Despite the central location, I slept through the entire night. Friendly, helpful staff and a calm, well-organized atmosphere. Plenty of kitchen space, a cozy TV room, and lots of bathrooms. Rooftop breakfast with great views was a highlight. Excellent location near Juárez metro, with shops, taco stands, and fruit vendors nearby. Highly recommend!

I had such a lovely time here. The atmosphere feels cozy, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable right away. The neighborhood is very safe and great too—there’s so much around to discover and it has a really nice energy. And beyond the daily breakfast (which is a great bonus!), the travelers and staff truly made the stay memorable. I’d absolutely recommend it and would love to come back again.

Easily the most relaxed and welcoming hostel I’ve stayed at in Mexico. The living room is especially cozy—perfect for unwinding and meeting people. Shout-out to Oscar at reception, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and shared recommendations throughout.

A friend recommended me here and it is really nice!! It is a real backpacker hostel, good value, meeting new friends every day to see the city, not at all hotel vibe. Comfortable and nice. Will come back!

chill, friendly, easy to meet other solo travellers. I did one night in a small private room just to get extra rest. It was simple, but comfortable and prices reasonable; plus, small free breakfast but vegetarian!! and one of the kitchens is just vegetarian. will come back again 100%
