Madpackers Udaipur

No elevator, washroom not so clean. I forgot my new pair of sports shoe and informed hostel but till date I didn't receive my show which I left under the bed. They did courier a foreigners passport but seems no care for homeland tourist.. Nowhere to Madpackers Jaipur in terms of experience..

Dirty and terrible bathroom. You cannot bring outside food which pressures you to eat in their overpriced cafe. As a foreigner you can only pay cash and they never have change. As soon as you leave the hostel you get approached by scammers. I stayed in other Madpackers hostels and had a much better experience!

Not at all as advertised. Rooms are old and smelly, and so are the bathroom. I tried cancelling my 4-day booking upon entering the hostel and seeing the room, however the staff was not at all friendly or helpful. We ended up staying one night and leaving the next day. I am an experienced backpacker, but that was terrible. The staff was rude and unprofessional.

Small rooms that weren’t able to lock and no lockers were available. I had to switch rooms because the AC was leaking in my bed. Turns out there were totally free rooms available with lockers but they were stuffing people together.

The staff was great, when the internet didn't work they shared a personal hotspot, the location is great too but the building is an echo chamber and it's so loud when some people reside to make noise (and they did). Also, the bathroom was falling apart and there are no real common spaces to meet travellers so if not go back.

Not good for me, the kitchen was not in operation no lift in the property

De loin, pas le meilleur hotel pour backpacker/routard. Pour avoir voyagé beaucoup et dormi dans ce genre d'hotel, cela ne vaut pas la note que j'ai vu. L'hôtel est vieux, beaucoup de portes ne ferment, les casiers pour mettre les affaires sont detruits, la propreté des chambres et des salles de bain laissent vraiment a désirer, la propreté des couvertures m'ont laissé tres sceptique. Seul le rooftop et le personnel de bonne volonté sont de bonne qualité. je ne recommande pas.

The reception people were not very helpful regarding my trip, both on recommendations and my arrival (i actually was asked to wait 30 min) because he was having a shower even when it was the middle of the morning

The staff could have been more professional

The property is good for a hotel business but they mixed the both options under one building. They need to improve lots of services ✌️

This property will make you extend your stay. It’s a chill place. Located at non-chaotic area of Udaipur. However, it’s only a small walk to the centre of the old city. Would come here again.

Stayed in a dormitory with amazing view of the lake.Loved the space, definitely coming back really soon. Must try paratha in their roof top cafe.

My favorite hostel in India no doubt. The staff is super friendly, food is good, and location is amazing.

We had a great experience at madpackers! The location was amazing, and the roof had incredible views. The community director did an awesome job with organizing events and making our time in Udaipur memorable. Highly recommend!

My favorite hostel ever. This is my third time revisiting and each time I end up extending my stay. Madpackers Udaipur will forever be a special place in my heart and Im sure I will be back again. Amazing staff, amazing people, and amazing views. 10/10 recommend!

Got The best view of the city with staff more like friends and family🥺 Good shower and spacious in general so you definitely will have space to spread yourselves!

Madpackers Udaipur is a lively, well-located hostel with great lake views and a warm, social vibe. The rooftop café is perfect for sunsets, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, beds are comfy, and the common area makes it easy to meet other travelers

One of the best hostels in Udaipur. City Palace, Ghats, Lakes, Market, cafes - everything is within walking distance from this hostel. Special mention to Sweety(the community Manager/host at Madpackers, Udaipur) - she was incredible! She gave us a wonderful tour of the nearby city spots and made us feel comfortable. The whole vibe at MadPackers was so positive - the staffs, the travelers, everyone was kind and easy going. I even made new friends here, and I’ll always remember the laughter, ...

The view of the lake and ghat from this property is just awesome. They have an in-house cafe also for your cravings. Overall a very good experience.

The property is situated in an optimal location, in close proximity to Ambari Ghat and various other travel destinations. The view from the top is satisfactory, although it may not be the most conducive environment for nighttime relaxation. Initially, the rooms had an unpleasant odor; however, this dissipated after opening the windows. Overall, it is a commendable place to stay.

Madpackers Udaipur was made truly special by the host, Aporva. From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Aporva was always ready with a smile, Their positive energy and willingness to help with anythi.I would highly recommend staying here for the fantastic hospitality.

Good crowd, good location. Right in the city and everything here is in walking distance. Simple and clean dorm. Overall good experience.
