Staff were friendly and welcoming, rooms were nice and clean but showers were not so clean. Buses are easy to get , only a five minute walk from the hostel, but getting somewhere such as Florence may take longer from this destination depending on what train you get. The common areas were comfy and had a nice atmosphere.
Die Jugendherberge ist ideal gelegen, mit kostenlosem Parkplatz. Das Personal ist freundlich, aber der Zustand des Gebäudes ist enttäuschend. Die Männerdusche funktionierte nicht, das Lavabo war schief und löste sich. In der Frauen-Dusche fehlte Licht, und der WC-Sitz war beschädigt. Das Brünnli hatte keinen Wasser-Knopf. Der Essraum war durch eine private Veranstaltung belegt, ohne alternative Lösung. Trotzdem war der Morgenkaffee großartig, und wir konnten trotz Kinderlärm gut schlafe...
The Jugendherberge is ideally located, with free parking. The staff is friendly, but the condition of the building is disappointing. The men's shower didn't work, the sink was broken and dissolved. The women's shower lacked light, and the toilet seat was damaged. The Brünnli didn't have a water button. The dining room was occupied by a private event, with no alternative solution. Nevertheless, the morning Kinderkaffee was great, and we could sleep well despite the noise.

Was skeptical because of the low amount of reviews but overall it was great. Don’t expect a top of the line hostel but it was clean, location was good. Not much going on at the hostel while i was there but was great looking and the staff was very kind. I definitely recommend if you are staying in Reggio Emelia.
This is the second time that I stay at this hostel. I love the beautiful architecture of the building (originally a monastery) with the internal garden.My female dorm had 3 bunk beds and extra blankets due to the cold weather besides heating.lockers with a personal key to store belongings in the room. Light breakfast included.The mattress was not very comfortable and overall the building needs maintenance. Shared toilets were ok but not great. No towels included in the price.bar with good price
C'est l'auberge la moins chère des villes aux alentours. Le batiment, un ancien couvebt est sympathique. Pour 24€ la nuit, je ne peux pas trop me plaindre de l'ambiance auberge de jeunesse inexistante. Les clients ne sont pour la plupart pas des voyageurs mais des travailleurs qui restent ici en attendant de trouver un appartement. Établissement un peu loin de la gare à pied.
This is the cheapest hostel in the surrounding towns. The building, an old couvebt is nice. For €24 a night, I can't complain enough about the atmosphere of the non-existent hostel. The clients are mostly not travelers but workers who stay here waiting to find an apartment.

Als häufiger Hostelnutzer empfinde ich dieses als Perle! Es entspricht der Ausstattung dem durchschnittlichen Hostel (mit seinen durchschnittlichen Mängel). Dieses wunderschöne Gebäude verleiht einem einen einzigartigen Aufenthalt mit Charme. Ich fühlte mich willkommen und sicher!

Ostello creato all'interno di un antico convento. La mia stanza aveva l'affaccio sul chiostro. La permanenza per lavoro è stata piacevolissima, ho potuto studiare negli spazi comuni. I gestori sono presenti e disponibili. All'interno del chiostro c'è un bar/ristorante. Gli ambienti erano molto spaziosi e pulitissimi, anche il bagno in comune lo era. Nella stanza all'arrivo c'era un bel tepore, il letto era comodo e completo di biancheria. Ottima anche la colazione ed il prezzo. Consigliatissim...
Hostel created inside an old convent. My room had the affaccio sul chiostro. The stay for work was pleasant, I could study in the common spaces. The managers are present and available. Inside the chiostro there is a bar/restaurant. The rooms were very spacious and very clean, even the bathroom in the commune was. Nella stanza all'arrivo there was a nice weather, the bed was comfortable and complete with linen. The breakfast and the price are also excellent. Consigliatissimo!

mega schönes Hostel! Nicht so krass modern, dafür einfach traumhaft! Das Personal ist super nett und die Zimmer sauber.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einem ehemaligen Kloster mit beeindruckenden Hallen. Eine Empfehlung für alle die eine ruhige Unterkunft suchen und die Stadt und Gegend von Reggio Emilia erkunden wollen.

L'ostello è in un antico convento del medioevo, ed è in una posizione unica al centro di Reggio Emilia. Vi è una bella atmosfera nel chiostro e nel bar e il personale è molto disponibile. Ci ero già stato e sicuramente ci tornerò!
The hostel is in an old medieval convent, and is in a unique location in the center of Reggio Emilia.There is a nice atmosphere in the cloister and bar and the staff is very helpful.I had been there before and will definitely return!
