Unfortunately, the house rules do not state that a 4% surcharge is applied if you choose to pay by credit card. we were really disappointed with this hostel. It was quite expensive and not worth the money. The toilets were disgusting, always blocked, and the showers were cold with zero water pressure. We couldn’t wash our hair because the pressure was too bad. It seemed like the bathrooms were never clean. The rooms were ok and the beds were quite comfy but not as advertised. There were no lights in the beds and my locker did not lock. The music went on until 3am so we did not sleep.

Really disappointed - room was fine apart from cold shower and lights not working in the bathroom so had to shower in the dark, a complete rip off to be honest when paying that amount for a private room. Mano and most of the staff were nice - rude women and clearly didn’t care at all when I gave them the feedback about the light etc. not good.

Did not enjoy my stay. Staff are so stingy with the AC, they don’t actually put it on cold - only ventilation which doesn’t actually cool you and they are very secretive about the temperature. Some staff are also SO rude. It’s also about 10min from centre which usually is fine but the island is tiny so it’s far and really quiet streets with huge puddles. Also pool is always cloudy & communal toilets for dorms are always clogged, it’s really disgusting

The place is located 10 min walk from the main tourist area, but the location felt very unsafe. The room was very dirty, the pipes did not drain properly the water I found the water all over the bathroom floor. One night i have also found cockroach on the bathroom floor. The only positive thing I found is that the staff is very kind and proactive.

I was a bit disappointed as the hostel is rather underwhelming. It is also very noisy so good earplugs are mandatory

Very hot beautiful island and would be nice to be able to come back to your room to cool down after exploring in the heat and however you don’t have control over your A/C in the room. Automatically turns on by the staff at 7pm and then turns off in the morning. No where does it state this. Wouldn’t have booked if I knew that was the case. They do have loud fans as well but unfortunately they don’t cool the room down at all.

I found the stay expensive for what they actually offer. Unlike other CHE locations, this place isn’t the nicest I’ve seen, the rooms and common areas feel a bit outdated and could use some improvements. Regarding the staff, only 2 or 3 people (one girl from the UK and two from Argentina) showed a friendly and positive attitude. The rest of the team seemed negative, with an awful attitude, as if they were annoyed to be there, which really affected the overall atmosphere. Wouldn’t recommend...

Installations sont biens. Piscine et aire communes agréables. Par contre, peu de service pour les chambres privées qui se trouvent de l'autre côté de la rue. Nous avons dû demander chaque fois pour vidange des sacs poubelles (& toilettes), machine à eau vide. Il a fallu demander pour changement des draps et serviettes malgré que nous avions la chambre 8 jours. Par contre animation et activités très plaisantes par Lina et Ornella. Belle ambiance, facile de rencontrer des gens.

Je n’ai pas aimé la structure des CHE en général. Les casiers ne sont pas très pratiques. L’état des salles de bains laisse à désirer. L’accueil n’est pas de grande qualité (sauf Marie qui a été hyper ouverte et sympathique!). L’ambiance est quand même sympa pour rencontrer du monde c’est génial ! Pour ceux qui aiment la fête c’est parfait. Mais se faire réveiller à 4h du matin par des gars bourrés c’est pas ouf…

You get what you expect if you book a party hostel. The kitchen is a mess and it was disgusting to use, and bathrooms could be cleaner. Rooms are fine, but CHE in the only hostel that turns off the AC during the day (and I stayed in more than +50 hostels in Mexiko). You can tell that it's all about the money. There are better and cheaper hostels on the island. However if you just want to party and don't care about money, this is the place for you.

Uno de los mejores hostels que he estado!!! Estructuralmente espectacular, desde que entras ya te dan ganas ee quedarte. Pero lo mejor es el staff que son lo mejor. Claramente mi estadía no hubiese sido lo mismo sin Santi, Guille, Walter, Manu, Aga, Rodri, Valen, Jeanne, Ami, Hanna y Vicky, gracias por todo 💕

Super auberge de jeunesse ! Il y a beaucoup d'evenement pour rencontrer les autres voyageus et sociabiliser. Des shots gratuits. Par contre, il y a des soirees jusqu'a 23h-minuit donc c'est bruyant si tu veux te coucher tot. Le debit d'eau dans la salle de bain de la chambre etait treees reduit, impossible de se laver les cheveux mais je suis allee aux douches communes qui avaient un bien meilleur debit. La fontaine a eau etait souvent a sec aussi, dommage. Mais bon sejour dans la globalit...

Excellente auberge! Personnel super sympathique et ambiance agréable. Nous avions une chambre privée et étions très confortable. Malgré l’animation et la musique à l’auberge, nous n’étions pas dérangées par le bruit car les chambres privées se situent de l’autre côté de la rue. À noter qu’il est interdit d’apporter notre propre alcool autour de la piscine.

Very nice staff (Amina is amazing!!), nice common areas, especially the pool, everything seemed very clean. Dorms were very spacious. The facilities seemed a bit old, but everything worked completely fine.

L’hostel est bien placé, à 10 minutes à pieds de la plage à peine. Ceux qui y travaillent sont tres sympa, il y a une bonne ambiance! Je recommande !

My stay was great and I had a good time. Dana and Natalie were very nice, fun and helpful .

I‘ve had a Great time at the Holbox Che! Nice vibe, you get to Know many cool people. Especially the Daily events in the Hostel make it easy to Connect. Dana and Nati/Natalie did a wonderfull Job to organize trips and parties 🫶🏼

War super. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer, was in einem anderen Gebäude ist und dadurch auch ruhig.

Expensive for what you get, overall good chill out spaces and you have an easy walk to town. Good privacy and security however bottom floor dorm rooms are pitch black and the light does not do much, have to use a torch throughout the day time. Both bathrooms kept breaking during our stay and a few of the staff are quite dismissive. Often at times it's quite cliquey as well. Good basic place to stay in a rreally beautiful place but easy improvements here and there cam be made to make it better.

Insgesamt hat uns das Hostel sehr gut gefallen. Es ist vom Hafen innerhalb von wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Am Pool gibt es viele Liegemöglichkeiten und die Schlafsäle sind wie bei allen Che-Hostels sehr gut. Negativ aufgefallen ist uns allerdings, dass es Schwierigkeiten mit dem Wasserdruck im gesamten Hostel gab (Toiletten / Dusche). Die Küche war nicht so gut sortiert und teilweise dreckig (auch wenn man fairerweise sagen muss, dass das auch durch die übrigen Gäste verursacht wurd...

Great hostel, lovely staff (shout out to Dana for being so nice) although the kitchen was too small for the number of people that wanted to use it.

We had so much fun in che hostel. They have some activities every day. Natalie was the best bartender.

Che was the best Hostel I have stayed at. Met so many amazing people each day and the constant activities allow you to social and explore well. Special mention to Manu and Dana for hosting so well. The location is also incredible eveything is walkable and safe

I loved my stay at Che!! The atmosphere and the staff were amazing, you‘ve felt so welcome and met amazing people every single day. There are so many activities you can join and the volunteers have the best recommendations for the island. Special thanks goes to Florian, Amina, Dana and Manu, who kept the vibe on a high level :) Also the rooms were good isolated, so the noices were not too loud if you want to sleep earlier. Music turns off at 12 anyways. Recommendation!!

I absolutely loved the Island but the staff in this hostel especially Hanna and Ruth made my whole stay, thank you so much girls and we see each other again ❤️
