Unfortunately this was really poor value for money. We paid over £80 per night to stay, and we paid for a premier room with a bathroom. We didn’t have any hot water for the whole stay, barely enough water came out of the shower to wash properly and the room wasn’t clean when we arrived (big hair balls on the floor, hairs inside the bed, sheet was falling off the bed) and everything was damp. Staff were lovely and the location was good, but the positives were outweighed by the negatives.
For starters i prefer when this was Selina who ever owns it is doijg terrible ,staff is awful i wanted to sit in a chair down stairs and they told me tonsit here you need to order a drink its a hostel not a 5 star resort also i needed a new towl so i left the sign on the door they took mybdorty towel and folded it all nice and acted like i would not notice i will never stay here ever again
they really need safes that are easy to use. Had a safe in my bed which kept kicking during the night and couldn't lock it. Had money and bank card stolen as couldn't lock it away in the dorm. Them for some reason got charged £95 after check out.
Staff was friendly but unorganized. Very minimal activities offered, so not much to do during the week. Towels that we received were slightly damp. If you’re looking for a hostel to meet new people and have fun as a group I would look elsewhere. Our room was very dark but they rectified with a lamp fairly quickly. Power was cut on the island for maintenance which Is fine however they only notified guests via WhatsApp group that we weren’t told to join. They don’t let you bring your own alc...
I arrived the hostel after a long flight and found out that for 8 people dorms there is only one bathroom. The room was EXTREMELY different from the pictures, At the Catfish level. The locker was old and crumbelling and took a lot of time to deal with. I was at the upper bed. I have a fear of heights, and i really asked to be at the bottom bad, and I was ignored. The woman at the counter couldn’t care less. It was very frustrating. I didn’t even sleep there. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Apart from the great location everything else was very disappointing. The rooms were too small, the bathrooms and toilets weren’t often clean and no where near enough for the amount of guests as there were none in the rooms. The charging ports weren’t working. The lights had to be changed 3 times. Multiple guests were getting scammed at checkout, paying big amounts of money for “stains” on bedding and weren’t aloud to re enter the room to look at the accusations.
For the price of the hostel you think the stay would be better. 2/4 of the nights I spent, there was no water in the whole hostel! Also, when I left the hostel at 6AM there was nobody there to refund my deposit for the keys. The reception should have been there, but honestly they were quite dismissive the whole stay. Another thing to mention is that the hostel is Israeli-owned and during my stay I met several travelers who mentioned they had served in the IDF. Worth knowing for the atmosphere.
Let op: privékamers zijn erg klein en extreem gehorig. Onze kamer lag naast het toilet en de douche, we hoorden letterlijk alles, zelfs met oordoppen. De kamer zelf was krap, max. 6–8 m², wat je niet ziet op de foto's op Hostelworld. Gelukkig kregen we na melding bij de receptie een upgrade naar een betere kamer. Positief: goede locatie en een keuken (niet vermeld online).
Please note: private rooms are very small and extremely tidy.Our rooms are next to the toilet and shower, we hoorden literally everything, even with earplugs.The room itself was cramped, max. 68 m2, which you do not see on the photos on Hostelworld.Fortunately we get an upgrade to a better room after melding at the reception.Positive: good location and a kitchen (not listed online).
Wij boekten Selina vanwege eerdere positieve ervaringen en het zwembad, maar bij aankomst bleek het zwembad leeg en werd dit niet vooraf gecommuniceerd. De receptioniste was onvriendelijk, het hotel misleidde qua zeezicht en de kamer had slechte verlichting. Compensaties, zoals ontbijt en lunch, werden niet nagekomen. Het personeel was ongeïnteresseerd, de kwaliteit van de faciliteiten was slecht, en de algehele ervaring was teleurstellend. Niet aan te raden.
We booked Selina due to previous positive experiences in the pool, but upon arrival the pool was empty and was not communicated in advance. The receptionist was unfriendly, the hotel had a misleading view of the sea and the room had poor lighting. Compensations, such as breakfast and lunch, were not taken into account. The staff was uninterested, the quality of the facilities was poor, and the overall experience was disappointing.

Amazing location! 8 mins from ferry, less than 5 mins from Playa Norte, 2 mins from main strip of food. Staff are lovely. Beds comfy with 2 pillows and proper duvet. However, every amenity - pool, bar, coworking space & cafe - has been closed by the government over a money dispute. Please be aware before booking as I wasn’t and was quite disappointed to be without the pool I was looking forward to. No social atmosphere at all either.
Most of the hostel area was closed due to some restricitions. Restaurant, coffee bar, pool are etc. was closed so not many people stayed and therefore it was a wierd atmosphere. Too baf because it has a great location and could be a great hostel.
This is not the Selina you know and loved. It is indeed under new ownership and having a bit of a midlife crisis: unsure to tend to young travelers, families, or digital nomads. HOWEVER, if you stop comparing it to the good ole days, you’ll see it for what it is now, which is an affordable, centrally locate place to sleep and leave your things. 5mins to the best beach, Playa Norte, 8min walk from the port and when it’s fully open (it was closed for 2/5 days I was there) has a pool and worksp...
J'ai passé un très bon moment dans cet hostel ! Proche du centre ville, tous était propre, personne très accueillante. Avec sur place pas mal de services comme : un centre de plongée, piscine et plage privée mais on ne peu pas se baigner trop loin car il y a du courant, bar restaurant pas très cher. Vraiment bien. Je recommande vraiment !
I had a very good time in this hostel ! close to the city center, everything was clean, very welcoming people. with on site quite a few services like: a diving center, swimming pool and private beach but you can't swim too far because there is electricity, bar restaurant not very expensive. really good. i really recommend !

Nice co working space. Would be nice to have activities to meet people, but the bar is cool in the evening. Good location, clean, has a kitchen. Nice staff.

Super chill vibe, lovely beach location, nice pool. Rooms had nice duvets instead of a flat sheet. Shower pressure was an issue but nothing too bad. Good food, massages available, coffee shop on site. Little walk from the ferry port.

Super Hostel aber wirklich sozial geht nicht viel dort. Jeder für sich. Hab den Quakamolekurs mitgemacht war super um Leute kennenzulernen. Wenn ich den nicht mitgemacht hätte wäre ich vermutlich vor Einsamkeit gestorben🫣😊
Super hostel but really social not much going on there. each one for himself. having attended the Quakamolekurs was great for meeting people. if I hadn't attended the one I would probably have died of loneliness😊
Great location, max.10 mins away from everything you could possibly need. Playa Norte is 5 mins away, lovely pool/bar/volleyball area. Comfy & cold dorms, perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach/exploring. Only problems I had was the constant banging noise coming from the plumbing area next to the female dorm & the bad water pressure in the shower, made it hard to wash my hair and took longer in general. They let me keep my luggage there after check-out & use the pool. 10 mins from ferry.

I loved this hostel. After reading the mixed reviews I visited in my bestie’s recommendation. I extended and stayed until the end of my trip. Lots of new friends, events, pool time, this hostel is the best! The staff are the best! I will return.
Sehr gutes Hostel mit perfekter Lage und guter Außenausstattung. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Leckeres Frühstück. Einziges Manko: Ausstattung der Sanitäranlagen, hier kann man ruhig in bessere und moderne Ausstattung der Badezimmer und Duschen investieren. Kein warmes Wasser. Ah und blöd ist auch, dass die Gepäckaufbewahrungsboxen sich am Bett befinden. Man knallt beim schlafen oft dagegen, Knie kann man nicht anwinkeln. Sonst alles gut.
Very good hostel with perfect location and good outdoor facilities. The staff is very friendly. Delicious breakfast. Only disadvantage: Sanitary facilities, here you can quietly invest in better and modern facilities of bathrooms and showers. No hot water. Ah and böd is also that the luggage storage boxes are located at the bed. One pops when sleeping often, knee can not swinkeln.st Son alles gut.

I LOVED this hostel. The poolarea is super nice and so close to the ocean. The staff are supernice and they have really nice events aswell. Some guy hosted a free guacamole-class. BOOK this hostel! The only bad thing is that they only have one bathroom in a 12 bed dorm but they have more outside.
Tolles Hostel, bequemes Bett, dicke Decke, sehr kuschelig. Grandiose Poolanlage, alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Strand wunderschöne. Allerdings schwer Kontakt zu anderen Gästen zu finden.
