Redhouse Backpackers Hostel

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOSTEL! The showers and bathroom are extremely dirty to the point that the sinks etc are covered in mould. We checked in and got given a room which had ants all on the floor and in the beds and the windows were so dirty which were left open for all the mozzies to come in as there was no ac or nets. The beds were dirty as was the room, the floors were not even safe to walk bare feet on. The social space is very nice and there is a garden but the level of cleanliness is awful.

We only stayed for 1 night and we were supposed to stay 2. The room was dirty, the sheets were itchy, the bathroom not clean, no toiletpaper, they smelled. Just overal bad experience. The only thing I can say is that Hue the host is really helpful and nice.

This property isn’t what was advertised. There is no social atmosphere and you only get one small bottle of free water a day. It is at least a 30min walk from anywhere you need to get to. The one good thing about it being quiet, is that you get an amazing nights sleep if that’s all you’re looking for

For western standards OK. The biggest room for improvement: 1. the curtains are not light-blocking. So at sunrise you get burned out of bed. 2. A drainage pipe was not sealed - making it smell like sewer in the hallway. Other than that, its a good place to stay. Very friendly host. Also arriving at night is no issue, there is a lock with a number for self-entry.

Personal sehr freundlich, leider waren fast keine Gäste außer uns da. Die Lage ist etwas weit weg vom Zentrum und das Badezimmer könnte sauberer sein.

Terrible location in a remote dark corner of Dalat. Huge big lock always on gate makes it feel like a prison, never anyone in front desk, someone always turns the hallways lights off so it’s pitch black whenever you leave your room. No food near by .. really made for an upsetting experience travelling Vietnam. When the owner was around she was nice. But rarely around.

Left early due to not feeling the room was to a clean enough standard and the staff were more than happy to give me a refund. Other than this it is a really pretty hostel

This hostel was decent for a one night stay. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Room was ok, a little basic with only an old fan as a cooling system so the bedroom got quite hot at night.

Very nice hostel but watch out because it is very far from the center. There is also not much tp do in Da Lat, so think twice about coming here.

Great staff, the owner is super nice and helpful. The rooms are decent but the bathroom isn’t very clean. Its about a 15 minute walk into town or a few minutes by grab scooter

Would highly recommend this hostel. Ling, our host was just wonderful and so friendly. Our room was really clean and the bed was super comfortable! We also liked how the hostel was locked, felt very safe!

lovely hostel if your want something quiet. owner is a lovely lads and very accommodatng. I got an early sleeper bus and she prepared a room quickly and allowed me to check in at 10am which was very nice of her.

Lovely place, great rooftop garden, good location a little outside so nice n chill. Owner goes above and beyond and will assure you have a good time and look after you. Top craic! Made out stay in Dalat memorable! Barrsshhh

Ling is absolutely amazing. 4 of us stayed here for 2 nights and couldnt have been happier. She goes above and beyond to make your stay extra special! We love you!!!

Thank you Linh for your amazing hospitality and a lovely stay! Beautiful little hostel with great views of the city from their garden, which is filled with artwork. Nice and quiet which is what we wanted but we also stayed out of season. Couldnt recommend it more. The owner Linh is an absolute legend

this was the best hostel we have stayed in,we stayed here for 3 nights the room was clean and the bed was so comfy! the two sisters that run the hostel are so kind and welcomming we had to get a sleeper bus in the afternoon the day we checked out and the lady let us keep the room free of charge which was so nice of her! would highly recommend staying here its such a beautiful hostel full of paintings and lovelly flowers,great location too.

This is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in and the owners are lovely. Plus the prices can’t be beaten.

Lovely hostel, rooms are very spacious and bathrooms are clean. In a great location close to the city centre but far away enough that you don’t get any of the noise at night. The staff are very lovely especially the receptionist Phung, she is so sweet and helpful absolutely made my stay

Very lovely quiet place i a decent city. i recommend a stay here if you prefer to chill out and experience Da Lat.
