Zostel Mysore

Room is congested and no proper lighting during the night times. Bathroom ceiling is touching heads if a person is 6 feet tall. AC is not covering the 2 bunk beds and even fan too.. it was so suffocating with mosquitoes. After 3 hrs of keeping AC on the room got cool a bit and the 2 bunk beds were kept opposite to bathroom which was very disturbing as some one open the bathroom door due to crevices in the door and light directly falls on the 2 bunk bed petiole who are opposite.

They had one bathroom for 20 people. Beds have sharp edges, I had to get my tetanus shots. Worst hostel I have stayed in

Almost the whole staff doesn’t speak english, can't handle bookings and isn’t helpful. No recommendation, even though it’s „Zostel“

right next to the main road so really noisy and staff are always coming in and out of the dorm when you’re sleeping- felt clean but wouldn’t stay again

Zostel is a great hotel chain, the location of Mysore is good, good rooms, but the service was bad. When I arrived they only showed me the room and they didn't accompany me, one expects to feel welcome and it didn't happen, I asked them for help with the suitcases and they told me they couldn't, I asked them for towels and they told me they didn't have, I asked them about activities and tours to do and they told me that they didn't know, the customer service was so bad that I would not return

There was no atmosphere at this hostel. The staff were quite rude and offered no assistance. The facilities are subpar at best. I would not recommend this hostel.

The Hostel is in a perfect area offering cheap and also fancy restaurants and cafes nearby. The atmosphere was quite open-minded and welcoming while I was there. Only real con was the kitchen which was not at all equipped and even for cutlery you have to ask at the reception. Also the kitchen was very nasty. The ground floor rooms can be pretty noisy when people gather in front of it in the evening.

Very clean, had everything we needed and good neighbourhood.

Un hostel muy agradable. Super amables los responsables, está limpio y las terrazas son muy agradables. Está bien ubicado, la única pega es q los colchones no son cómodos y q no puedes pagar con tarjeta. Por lo demás estupendo. Gracias!

The hostel is in a nice neighbourhood on a boulevard with cafes around it selling bottled water, tea and food. The hostel garden is attractive with fairylights. It would be better if smoking wasn't allowed. There are also a few sofas in reception and a rooftop. The female dorm had comfortable beds, duvets, pillows and sheets. The bathroom was clean with hooks! The staff called me a driver called Julian. He spoke great English, was trustworthy and knew all the tourist places and more.

Located at good place Zostel Mysuru has vibrant ambience. Support staff and host were very good. Clean and Tidy. Good sit out places to hangout with strangers with chilled beer and chit chat.

I had a great time at Zostel. It is located in the center and the street has a lot of very big Bodhi trees, which provide for a nice bit of shade in the outside area. Good and clean dorms. There is so much to be done in mysore. What I really liked was the activity Tushar arranged. We went out en he took us to this amazing dosa place! Very good👌🏿

Was a lovely hostel, the staff will help where ever they can. They arrange games and things for people staying to do and connect to other traveler’s and locals.

Shout out to Aditya who saved this place from a rough review. Location is fine, some nice eateries nearby. Pretty clean. Nice shared kitchen and rooftop. Hated the small four-person room downstairs, it’s dark and the cabinets don’t fit a standard backpack. Opt for the larger shared room. Worst part was the woman at the front desk. I asked for advice and help several times but was met with “I don’t know” with no further assistance offered. But Aditya is a vibe…he should be full-time m...

Its a really nice hostel. Great location with many restaurants near by. Nice garden to chill in, plus a really cozy rooftop. The rooms are also good and the staff is friendly and helpful.

One of the amazing hostel of my trip. Rooms were clean and the common hangout area was also nice. The best thing I like about the property was there was a play station which you will not get in any other backpacker hostel.
