You’ll need to go up 4 flights of stairs with your heavy backpack to get to your dorm. Si viajas solo y tienes mucha energía quedate aquí. las habitaciones compartidas quedan en un 4to piso sin ascensor. Las habitaciones no son mixtas . la zona social está en el 4to piso también. Unfortunately the overbooked the room i booked. i asked for a 8 bed ensuite and arrived and they give me a 10 bed dorm with the bathroom on the rooftop. i said that i had booked the other room they told me i could possible change tomorrow, went to ask for the next day and they overbooked that day also. There was no compensation for this. They only said they could offer a refund and i could go elsewhere. i arrived at 2 in the morning so this wasnt possible. Overall not the best.

Upon check in toilet dirty with pee. Ants eveywhere including in the bed. There is a kettle to boil water but they dont have cups. At night there is noise due the Bui Vin street next to it. Came late for a flight, needed to sleep the following morning, and they start with plumbing huge noise at 7 am. Couldn’t sleep at all. I understand they need to fix something but if is a hostel with people on holidays you can call them that early disturbing your guests. Also, that day no hot water. Horrible...

This review reflects more the private room we stayed in and obviously cannot comment about the dormitories. The room was pretty tardy and dirty but as the bedding was clean and mattress reasonably comfortable we could overlook the other deficiencies. However this room is not in the main building instead it’s located across from the Hotel on the ground floor in a cafe that opens around 7am and is very noisy so don’t expect a lie in. Besides from Richard being a super nice guy and always available, the droms are not that great, the room is kinda dirty with ants crawling around the ac does not work properly (we had to change to a private room because the heat was unbearable), and overall it was not a very pleasant experience. You get what you pay for but in 3 weeks in Vietnam this was probably the worst dorm i have stayed in. I urge Richard to do some changes to the dorms

Ok i just want to say the two guys that work here fabulous! Especially the one there in the day time. He was lovely to talk to and so helpful!! I stayed in a dorm for two nights and a private room for two nights. Great location.. can be kinda loud at night as its on the walking street. Also… 4 flights of stairs for the dorms….. so that sucked.
