The Common Room Project

Located right on the party street of Ho Chi Minh City, but don’t let that scare you away. This hostel is beautiful, super comfortable, and the staff is incredibly kind. They organize a ‘family’ dinner every evening, which makes meeting other travelers really easy. It’s definitely not a party hostel, but still very social. For me, it was the perfect mix of comfort and gezelligheid.

The staff is extremely kind and always willing to help. I was also able to leave my luggage there, which was very convenient. The hostel is clean, modern, and quite central. The family dinners are a great idea because they help guests socialize and meet new people. I would definitely stay here again when I come back! Really amazing people!

Super comfortable stay in a great location. This felt much more like a hotel than a hostel but still with a friendly feel. Highly recommended. I will stay there when I come to the city.

Right next to one of the busiest party streets but you don't hear anything from outside once the doors to a very welcoming common area close behind you. You immediately feel at home when greeted with a warm welcome and the staff is more than happy to help with any questions. Some even get answered before you're able to ask them. They organised some delicious family dinners where you have the option to connect with other travellers. Facilities all very clean and modern. All in all a great stay

Best place I’ve stayed in any hostel. Cool vibe, the family dinners make it easy to connect & open up conversations. The place feels like a hotel, dorms were great & the respect in the rooms is mega - you’ll still need ear plugs as it’s a great location, but that means a bit noisy. Staff amazing great at anything you need One con, no space if you need to take a personal call / work.met great people, chilled vibe, would go again for sure!

Hier hatte ich eine perfekte Hostel Erfahrung. Die Mitarbeiter sind unfassbar hilfsbereit und nett. Die sanitären Anlagen sind sehr sauber und es war immer etwas verfügbar. Leute kennen zu lernen war sehr einfach und wir waren eine tolle Gruppe. Das Family Dinner war immer super lecker und es war gut um Leute zu treffen. Die einzige Gefahr ist, dass man es hier zu schön findet und nicht weiter reisen möchte.

The hostel is located at the end of Bui Vien street. Whilst it's way quieter than at the main stretch of the street, you still get a bit of noise coming in from traffic and bars. Otherwise location is great and central. There's a 7/11 next door and lots of restaurants around. Hostel was clean and quiet and had a boutique feel to it.

Best hostel I’ve stayed at in Vietnam. Everything is just 10/10. Staff is so great, the family dinners are DELICIOUS and also a great way to meet fellow travelers. It had the perfect social atmosphere for me and the dorms are so clean, modern and spacious. Definitly worth spending a bit extra on!!!

Probably the best facilities in a hostel I’ve experienced. Nice quiet vibe off the busy Bui Vien Street but still easy to socialise over the group dinners in the evening. Staff were really friendly too!

Very nice hostel for people who like a calm and relaxing place. The staff is very friendly and overall it's comfy. There's a water fountain which is great and possibility to meet people at dinner :) Ps: would like some more space shelves in bathroom/toilets :)

Stunning! Felt perfectly welcomed, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and facilities are modern, clean - perfect to chill and reset after a big day. I recommend 1000%!

The most beautiful hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Very clean and comfortable beds. The staff was so lovely and helpful and took the time to get to know and help guests feel at home. The family dinners were delicious and the kitchen is incredibly well equiped. Worth every penny.

Common project room is a great place to socialise and also rest after a long day of travelling. Wat een fantastisch hostel! De mensen die hier werken zijn super aardig en behulpzaam, en geven goeie tips! Ook waren de family dinners heerlijk en gezellig. Het was super schoon en modern, en lag erg centraal.

Such a lovely place, the staff are so kind! They were so accommodating when I wanted to extend a night and then cancel it last minute and they gave a full refund. The facilities and building itself is also amazing and so clean. Definitely recommend
