Banana Bunks Mirissa

Die Betten im Dorm sind hart und ungemütlich. Nachts war es sehr laut. Der Portier Saman war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.Trotzdem musste ich mir eine andere Unterkunft suchen, da ich es nicht sehr angenehm fand. Ein Privatzimmer mit richtugen Matratzen war leider nicht verfügbar. Mein Geld für die 3 Nächte, die ich nicjt geblieben bin, bekam ich nicht zurück und musste trotz Nachfrage auf 50% Erlass den vollen Preis zahlen. Preis Leistung ist sehr schlecht.

Das Hostel ist sehr schön designt, das Personal sehr freundlich, es liegt sehr nah am Coconut Hill, das Hostel ist nicht ganz so Social und bietet keine grose Chill-Area. All in all ein sehr schönes Hostel :-) Man kann den Pool vom Hotel unten mit nutzen.

overall was pretty disappointed, it is not made clear that the pool and garden isn’t attached to the property, meaning there is no where to rest outside, also on hostelworld it says everyone staying gets a discount at the restaurant which is untrue, myself and everyone else in the dorm was told it didn’t apply to us. i was also made to feel uncomfortable in the restaurant as if i wasn’t allowed there, a few members of staff made up for this and were amazingly helpful but was a weird experi...

An sich war fast alles super. Der Pool/Bar ist öffentlich zugänglich und macht einen als Hostel Bewohner dann als „Fremden“ an der Bar, heißt so viel wie, dass mir das familiärer Feeling gefehlt hat. Ist aber ein persönliches Empfinden. Aussicht am Pool tip top und Essen auch sehr lecker !

This is a great location. It’s not really a very social Hostel, but it becomes what you want it to be. I managed to get some friends and I celebrated New Year’s Eve with them. This place has really good facilities and the staff is remarkably friendly and helpful. I’m very pleased with my stay and I want to come back next time!

Banana Bunks was a pleasure to stay at. My room was as beautiful as described and very clean. The location was great a few hundred meters from the turtle point and the coconut tree hill. Also on the other side of the street is the restaurant which serves a variety of food throughout the whole day. I definitely recommend staying at Banana Bunks!

Stayed there for three nights with my friend and we had the dorm all for ourselves - its not really a hostel, so dont except too much of socialising. The shower and rest of the bathroom is really big. Its part of the Petti Petti beach club, where you get 25% discount on all food and drinks. Its close to the beach where you can surf and next door is a really delicious vegan restaurant „Slow“.
